Devices and methods are provided for acquiring data comparison information. For example, a session window of a preset account is switched to in a social networking application, wherein the preset account is configured to provide an inquiry service for a target account; first commodity information for price comparison input into the session window by a user is acquired, wherein the first commodity information is sent to the preset account by the target account and the target account corresponds to a client account of the social networking application used by the user; the first commodity information for price comparison is sent to a server, so that the server determines whether a price comparison result associated with the first commodity information for price comparison is saved; the price comparison result sent by the server is received; and the price comparison result is displayed in the session window.

Devices and methods for acquiring data comparison information

A method of searching a public account in a social networking application includes logging in to a social networking application using a user account and then searching a public account using a keyword in an account database of the social networking application. The method further includes acquiring a first list of public accounts that match the keyword; acquiring a second list of public accounts that friends of the user liked; and comparing the first list of public accounts with the second list of public accounts. If a public account of the first list also appears on the second list, the method includes retrieving information of friends who liked the public account, counting a number of friends who liked the public account, and displaying the public accounts in the first list with information of friends who liked the public accounts.

Method and system of searching a public account in a social networking application

Method and device of recommending public social network accounts on a social network platform are disclosed. The method includes: a user device obtaining a user profile of a user account of the social network platform, the user profile including at least identity and online behavior information of a user associated with the user account; selecting one or more information items from the user profile in accordance with a matching algorithm for selecting the recommended public social network accounts; running the matching algorithm to obtain at least one recommended public social network account that matches the selected information items; and recommending the at least one public social network account to the user associated with the user account.

Method and system for account recommendation

A computer server supporting a social networking application that has multiple users, each user having a unique social networking application account identifier, is used for generating and managing an informational site accessible to the multiple users. Upon receipt of an informational site establishment request from a first client device, the informational site establishment request including a social networking application account identifier of a user of the first client device, the computer server establishes, according to the informational site establishment request, an informational site corresponding to the social networking application account identifier. The computer server then publishes a link to the informational site to users associated with a plurality of social networking application account identifiers of the social networking application, enabling the users to access the informational site from their accounts of the social networking application in the form of instant message exchanges.

Method and system for managing an informational site using a social networking application

A method of generating a recognizable identifier for a network address includes at a portable computer device having one or more processors and memory storing programs executed by the one or more processors, touching an image icon on an application interface displayed on a screen of the portable computer device; acquiring a network address of the application interface; generating a recognizable identifier that represents the network address; generating a mask layer of the application interface; and displaying the recognizable identifier on the mask layer, wherein the mask layer of the application interface is configured to cover the application interface.
