The present disclosure relates to a top cover assembly of a secondary battery and a secondary battery, wherein the top cover assembly includes a top cover plate, provided with a through hole; an electrode terminal, covering the through hole; an insulating plate, wherein at least part of the insulating plate is arranged on a side of the top cover plate away from the electrode terminal; a seal, wherein at least part of the seal is arranged between the top cover plate and the electrode terminal; and an insulator, wherein at least part of the insulator is arranged between the top cover plate and the insulating plate; wherein the insulator and the seal at least jointly enclose a side wall of the through hole and an area, close to the through hole, on an upper surface of the top cover plate.

This application discloses a thermal management system for a battery pack and a thermal management system for an electric vehicle. the thermal management system for the battery pack includes: a thermal management device for the battery pack, a processor, and a solenoid valve network connected to the thermal management device for the battery pack. An external port of the solenoid valve network is connected to an external cooling system. The processor is configured to control operating status of a solenoid valve in the solenoid valve network, so that the thermal management device for the battery pack heats the battery pack by using heat generated by the external cooling system.

A secondary battery including: a case including an opening; a top cover assembly including a top cover plate covering the opening and an electrode terminal, the top cover plate including an electrode lead-out hole corresponding to the electrode terminal; an electrode assembly received in the case and including a main body and a tab, the tab being bent relative to a thickness direction of the top cover plate to form a bent portion; and a current collecting wiring board disposed between the top cover plate and the main body and including a first connection portion, a second connection portion, and a transition portion, the first connection portion and the second connection portion extending along a width direction of the top cover plate and being provided opposite to each other, the first connection portion being connected with the electrode terminal, and the second connection portion being connected with the bent portion.

Secondary battery

The present disclosure provides a battery cap assembly and a secondary battery. The battery cap assembly comprises a cap plate, a first electrode terminal and a first connecting piece. The cap plate is made of insulating material and includes a first terminal hole; the first electrode terminal is provided to the cap plate and extends into the first terminal hole; the first connecting piece is provided below the cap plate. The first connecting piece includes a first connecting portion connected with the first electrode terminal, an upper surface of the first connecting portion is attached to the cap plate. The secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly, a case and the battery cap assembly. The case receives the electrode assembly and has an opening. The cap plate is connected with the case, the first connecting portion of the first connecting piece is electrically connected with the first electrode plate.

Battery cap assembly and secondary battery

In a battery heating system an inverter includes a first-phase bridge arm, a second-phase bridge arm and a third-phase bridge arm connected in parallel, each of a upper bridge arm and a lower bridge arm is provided with a switch module, the switch module is connected in parallel with a buffer module; and a motor controller in the inverter is provided for providing driving signals to the switch module of a target upper bridge arm and the switch module of a target lower bridge arm to control the switch module of the upper bridge arm of any bridge arm among the three phases of bridge arms and the switch module of the lower bridge arm of at least one bridge arm among the bridge arms except the bridge arm where the switch module of the target upper bridge arm is located to be periodically turned on and off.

Battery heating system

The present disclosure provides a battery module, a secondary battery and a cap assembly thereof. The cap assembly includes a cap plate which is provided with a terminal hole and an electrode terminal provided to the cap plate and covering the terminal hole; the electrode terminal includes an outer surface; the electrode terminal includes a positioning hole which is recessed with respect to the outer surface and includes a first portion and a second portion, the second portion is positioned to a side of the first portion away from the outer surface; a section of the first portion parallel to a central axis of the positioning hole is trapezoidal; a size of the first portion gradually decreases in a direction of the first portion close to the second portion, and a minimum size of the first portion is greater than or equal to a size of the second portion.

Battery module, secondary battery and cap assembly thereof

The present disclosure provides a cap plate and a secondary battery. The cap plate includes a main portion and a first protruding portion. The main portion includes a first exterior surface, a second exterior surface and a third exterior surface, the third exterior surface is a curved surface. The first protruding portion includes a fourth exterior surface extending downwardly from a bottom end of the third exterior surface, the fourth exterior surface is inclined inwardly relative to the third exterior surface. The secondary battery comprises the cap plate and a case. The case includes an opening; the cap plate is provided to the opening, the main portion is fixed to an inner wall of the case. The first protruding portion is received in the case, and a gap is provided between the fourth exterior surface and the inner wall, a dimension of the gap increases gradually along a downward direction.

Cap plate and secondary battery

The present disclosure provides a battery heating system and a control method thereof. The battery heating system includes a main positive switch, a main negative switch, an inverter, a motor, and a battery management unit. The inverter includes a first phase bridge arm, a second phase bridge arm and a third phase bridge arm connected in parallel. A motor controller in the inverter is configured to output a drive signal to a target upper-bridge-arm switch unit and a target lower-bridge-arm switch unit, so as to control the target upper-bridge-arm switch unit and the target lower-bridge-arm switch unit to be periodically turned on and off. The battery management unit is configured to collect state parameters of the battery pack. When the state parameters of the battery pack meet preset heating conditions, a control signal is sent to the motor controller to control the motor controller to output the drive signal.

Battery heating system and control method thereof

The present disclosure provides a battery cap assembly, a secondary battery and a battery module. The battery cap assembly comprises: a cap plate, including a second terminal hole; a first electrode terminal, at least a part of which protruding above the cap plate; a second electrode terminal, including a second protruding portion protruding above the cap plate and a second base portion connected with the second protruding portion. The first electrode terminal is provided with a protrusion used for welding with a first connecting piece; the second protruding portion is used for welding with a second connecting piece to form a welding portion, and a projection of the welding portion in an up-down direction is positioned in a cross-section of the second base portion. The secondary battery comprises a case, an electrode assembly and the battery cap assembly. The battery module comprises the first connecting piece and the secondary batteries.

The disclosure provides a secondary battery and a battery module. The secondary battery comprises: a case having an accommodation space and a first opening in communication with the accommodation space; an electrode component disposed in the accommodation space; a cover plate being installed at the first opening; wherein a connection slot is formed at a joint between the cover plate and the case, and the connection slot extends in a direction away from the accommodation space and throughout a top surface of the cover plate; and a first connection member being disposed in the connection slot, wherein the cover plate and the case are hermetically connected via the first connection member.

The battery cap assembly comprises a cap plate, a first electrode terminal and a first sealing member. The cap plate includes a first terminal hole. The first electrode terminal includes a first protruding portion and a first base portion, a cross-sectional area of the first protruding portion is larger than a cross-sectional area of the first terminal hole. The first sealing member includes a first main portion, the first main portion includes a first through-hole. The first protruding portion is used for welding with a first connecting piece to form a welding portion, a projection of the welding portion is positioned in the first through-hole. The secondary battery comprises a case, the battery cap assembly and an electrode assembly. The battery module comprises the first connecting piece and the secondary batteries.

The disclosure provides a battery heating system and a control method thereof. The system includes a first switch, a second switch, a switch component, a motor, and a main controller. The first switch, the second switch, the switch component and the main controller are integrated in a same housing. The main controller is to determine, based on a state parameter of the battery pack, that the battery pack needs to be heated, and to send a battery heating request to a vehicle controller, so as to enable the vehicle controller to send a battery heating instruction to the main controller according to the battery heating request in a case where a vehicle is in a static state and the motor is not operating; and to control, based on the battery heating instruction, the first switch, the second switch and the switch component so as to heat the battery pack.
