A smart self-driving system includes a body, such as a piece of luggage, supported by a plurality of wheel assemblies. At least one wheel assemblies includes a wheel rotating motor configured to rotate a wheel of the wheel assembly to move the luggage in a given direction. At least one wheel assemblies includes a wheel orientation sensor configured to measure the orientation of the wheel. At least one wheel assembly includes a wheel orientation motor configured to orient the wheel in the given direction. The smart self-driving system is configured to move in forward direction that is different than a head direction of the body.

Smart self-driving systems with motorized wheels

Embodiments of the present disclosure include automated guided vehicles (AGVs) having a U-shaped handle. The U-shaped handle can be pull down to change operation of the AGV. In one embodiment, a self-driving system is provided. The system includes a body having one or more motorized wheels, a console coupled in an upright position to an end of the body, and a handle pivotally coupled to the console, the handle being movable with respect to the console to change operation of the self-driving system between a self-driving mode and a manual control mode.

Manual direction control component for self-driving vehicle

A movable container includes: a driving mechanism, a sensing device, and a control circuit. The driving mechanism is arranged to provide a momentum to the movable container. The sensing device is arranged to sense a motion feature in accordance with the momentum provided by the driving mechanism. The control circuit is coupled to the sensing device and the driving mechanism and arranged to calculate a calculated mass of the movable container in accordance with the motion feature sensed by the sensing device. The control circuit is coordinated with the driving mechanism and the sensing device via a user input. In some embodiments, the movable container is a suitcase or a luggage.

Movable container, associated electronic device and associated method

A brushless direct-current (BLDC) motor has a connector, a stator, a rotor and a positioning module. The connector has three input ends for receiving three voltage signals, and a feedback end for receiving a feedback signal. The three voltage signals are transmitted to three windings of the stator. Rotation of the rotor is induced by interaction of magnetic fields of the three windings and a plurality of magnets of the rotor. The positioning module is fixed to the stator and has three Hall sensors for sensing positions of the magnets. The positioning module generates the feedback signal according to the positions of the plurality of magnets sensed by the three Hall sensors. The first voltage signal, the second voltage signal and the third voltage signal are adjusted according to the feedback signal.
