A base station antenna includes a remote electronic tilt ('RET') actuator, a phase shifter having a moveable element and a mechanical linkage extending between the RET actuator and the phase shifter. The mechanical linkage includes an adjustable RET linkage that has a first link that has a first connection element, a second link that has a second connection element and a connecting member that includes at least a third link. The adjustable RET linkage includes at least a first hinge and a second hinge.

A phase shifter assembly includes first and second phase shifters that respectively include a wiper printed circuit board and a rotatable wiper support, where the wiper printed circuit board and the wiper support are coupled in motion. The phase shifter assembly further comprises: a U-shaped bracket having first and second arms, where the first phase shifter is held on the first arm, and the second phase shifter is held on the second arm; and a rack that is linearly movably supported and is drivable to move linearly; wherein the slide holders has a tooth portion respectively, and the tooth portions are engaged with the common rack. By means of linear movement of the rack, the slide holders can be rotated respectively, and thus the slides are movable within a predetermined range respectively so as to implement phase shifts.

A tilt adapter configured to facilitate a desired tilt of a first radio frequency (RF) band and a second RF band of an antenna is disclosed. The antenna supports two or more frequency bands, in which the vertical tilt of each of the supported frequency bands is separately controlled by a coarse level of phase shifting, but commonly controlled by a fine level of phase shifting.

The present disclosure relates to a linkage mechanism for a phase shifter assembly, comprising a rotation device having a rotation shaft fixed to a substrate of the phase shifter assembly and a rotation member configured to rotate about said rotation shaft; a first drive member which can be operatively engaged to the rotation member such that rotation of the rotation member can cause movement of the first drive member; a second drive member disposed on and moving together with the rotation member; and a translation device including a translation member which can be operatively engaged to the second drive member such that movement of the second drive member can cause movement of the translation member, wherein the rotation device and the translation device are configured to move in association with each other during operation of the phase shifter assembly. Base station antennas are provided herein. A base station antenna includes first and second wiper phase shifters. In some embodiments, the base station antenna includes first and second wiper supports that are on the first and second wiper phase shifters, respectively, and the first wiper support includes a portion that is beside and interlocked with a portion of the second wiper support. In some embodiments, the base station antenna includes a first linkage that is on the second wiper phase shifter, and a second linkage that intersects, and is coupled to, the first linkage and is configured to adjust the first and second wiper phase shifters via the first linkage. In some embodiments, the first and second wiper phase shifters are a mirror-image pair of wiper phase shifters. Related methods of operating a base station antenna are also provided.

A connector for connecting a coaxial cable to a printed circuit board includes a support portion that receives an end of the coaxial cable within a hollow structure thereof so that an exposed outer conductor of the coaxial cable is connected to an interior surface of a side wall of the hollow structure and so that the coaxial cable extends within the support portion perpendicular to the printed circuit board. The connector further includes an engagement portion that is connected to the support portion and configured to fix the connector to a first side of the printed circuit board, where the engagement portion is mounted above a via hole in the printed circuit board.

Phase shifter assembly

There is provided a wiper support device for a phase shifter including a substrate. The wiper support device may comprise a cover, which is provided opposite to the substrate. The wiper support device may further comprise a wiper support, which is located between the cover and the substrate. The wiper support has a first surface facing the cover and a second surface facing the substrate. The second surface may be fixed with a wiper. The wiper support device may further comprise a resilient element, which extends from the first surface of the wiper support toward the cover and abuts against the cover. The wiper support device may further comprise a fastening mechanism, which connects the cover to the substrate. The resilient element may be compressed between the cover and the wiper support.
