A mutual capacitive touch panel includes a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer. The first electrode layer includes a plurality of electrode groups and a plurality of electrode groups arranged in an array. The first electrode groups located at the same column are electrically connected to a form a first electrode series, and the second electrode groups located at the same column are electrically connected to form a second electrode series. The second electrode layer includes a plurality of electrode strip groups insulated from one another and sequentially arranged along a column direction of the array, wherein each of the electrode strip groups extends along a row direction of the array and overlaps, a perpendicular projection direction, electrode groups of two adjacent rows, and two adjacent of the electrode strip groups overlap, in the perpendicular projection direction, the electrode groups of the same row.

Mutual capacitive touch panel

A touch display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of touch sensing lines, and a plurality of gate lines. The data lines are disposed above the substrate, and extend along a first direction. The touch sensing lines are disposed above the substrate, extend along a second direction different from the first direction, and intersect with the data lines. The gate lines are disposed above the substrate, extend along the second direction, and intersect with the data lines. The touch sensing lines or the gate lines and the data lines form touch sensing elements.

Touch display panel

The present invention provides a mutual capacitive touch panel including a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. The first conductive layer includes a plurality of electrodes arranged in an array and a plurality of connecting line segments. In each column of the array, the electrodes in the ((N&#xd7;M)-1)row are electrically connected to one another through some of the connecting line segments to form a first electrode series, and the electrodes in the (N&#xd7;M)row are electrically connected to one another through some of the connecting line segments to form a second electrode series. The second conductive layer includes a plurality of electrode strips extending along a row direction of the array and respectively overlapping the electrodes located at the corresponding row. Each electrode strip includes a plurality of shielding portions, each of which overlaps one corresponding of the connecting line segments.

Mutual capacitive touch panel having double-layer electrode structure

An in-cell touch display panel includes a substrate, a semiconductor stack, a transparent layer, an insulation layer, and a metal layer. The semiconductor stack is disposed on the substrate, and includes a plurality of pixel control elements. The transparent layer is disposed on the semiconductor layer stack, and includes a plurality of first touch electrode portions and a plurality of first connecting lines extending along a first direction. The insulation layer is disposed on the transparent layer. The metal layer is disposed on the insulation layer, and includes a plurality of second touch electrode portions and a plurality of second connecting lines extending along a second direction. The second connecting lines and the first touch electrode portions form a plurality of first touch electrode strips, and the first connecting lines and the second touch electrode portions form a plurality of second touch electrode strips.

In-cell touch display panel

A control method for a touch display device including a display panel is provided. The display panel includes multiple first gate lines and multiple second gate lines respectively corresponding to a first field and a second field of a frame, and multiple sensing electrodes for touch sensing. Within one single frame period, the control method includes: scanning the first gate lines to update the first field; controlling the sensing electrodes to perform touch sensing and providing a first touch report; scanning the second gates lines to update the second field; and controlling the sensing electrodes to perform touch sensing and providing a second touch report. At least one of the first gates lines is located between two of the second gate lines, and at least one of the second gate lines is located between two of the first gate lines.

Touch display device and associated control method

An operating mode distinguishing method, a touch point determining method and a touch control circuit are provided. It is determined whether an underwater mode is entered according to a self capacitance value and a mutual capacitance value. In the underwater mode, a touch point position is determined according to deformation of a substrate.

The data reading device includes: a first electrode, forming a first coupling capacitance with the data transmission device; a second electrode, forming a second coupling capacitance with the data transmission device; a control circuit, coupled to the first electrode and the second electrode, configured to provide the first electrode with a first reference voltage and the second electrode with a second reference voltage to cause a voltage difference between the first electrode and the second electrode to vary with time, and to detect charge changes of the first coupling capacitance and the second capacitor; and a determination unit, coupled to the control circuit, configured to determine the data according to the charge changes.

An in-cell touch display panel includes a substrate, a semiconductor stack, a transparent layer, an insulating layer and a metal layer. The semiconductor stack is disposed on the substrate. The transparent layer is disposed on the semiconductor stack, and includes a plurality of connecting electrode strips extending along a first direction. The insulating layer is disposed on the transparent layer. The metal layer is disposed on the insulating layer, and includes a plurality of first touch electrode strips and a plurality of first touch electrode portions. The first touch electrode strips extend along a second direction. The first touch electrode portions and the connecting electrode strips form a plurality of second touch electrode strips extending along the first direction. The first touch electrode strips intersect and are insulated from the second touch electrode strips.

A touch control device capable of preventing false positives is provided. The touch control device includes: a conductive plate, electrically connected to a predetermined potential; a sensing region, located above the conductive plate, including a plurality of capacitive sensing units; and a conductive ring, located above the conductive plate, disposed at a periphery of the sensing region. When a touch scanning signal is provided to one on-duty capacitive touch sensing unit of the capacitive touch sensing units, the conductive ring synchronously receives a control signal associated with the touch scanning signal.

An in-cell touch display device includes a first substrate, a plurality of common lines and a plurality of data lines. The common lines are disposed on the first substrate and extend along a first direction. The data lines are disposed on the first substrate and extend along a second direction. The common lines intersect and are insulated from the data lines. A plurality of touch sensing capacitors are formed at intersections of the common lines and the data lines to perform touch sensing.

In-cell touch display device and driving method thereof

A method for coordinate correction of touch control is provided. An original x-coordinate and an original y-coordinate are corrected according to a total sensing value, the original x-coordinate and the original y-coordinate provided by touch sensing of a touch panel. The method includes providing an estimated x-axis correction value according to the original x-coordinate and the total sensing value, generating a corrected x-coordinate according to the estimated x-axis correction value and the original x-coordinate, and providing a corrected y-coordinate according to the original x-coordinate, the corrected x-coordinate and the total sensing value.
