A body for passenger cars has a rear window, a rear spoiler and a rear-window wiper. The rear-window wiper, in its parking position, penetrates into a gap formed between the rear spoiler and rear window. To avoid impairing the aerodynamic properties of the rear spoiler as a result of the integrated arrangement of the rear-window wiper, and to achieve a visually attractive appearance of the rear spoiler, a cover strip is fastened to the wiper arm of the rear-window wiper which, in the parking position of the rear-window wiper, covers the gap between the rear spoiler and rear window with essentially a form fit.

Body for passenger cars

The application relates to an anchoring of end points of safety belts or safety belt buckle attachments for rear seats of motor vehicles with rear-wheel drive, especially passenger vehicles or estate cars, in the vehicle floor region. In order to stiffen such an anchoring so that the mounting points cannot travel in the direction of the tensile forces occuring in the case of stressing as a result of an accident, the invention provides for the end points, together with a bridge passing under a drive shaft, to be fixed to the vehicle floor on both sides of the drive shaft.

Anchoring of end points of safety belts

A windshield wiper for motor cars with a wiper arm which terminates at its free end in a U-shaped hook, while a connecting piece articulated to a wiper blade and preferably consisting of plastics is slidable and anchorable between the members of the U. In order to ensure a play-free connection even in the longitudinal direction of the wiper arm and/or wiper blade, a fastening yoke, which is articulated to the connecting piece at a pivot axis thereof, in its closed position, engages externally and clamps around the U-shaped hook and tensions the connecting piece towards the wiper arm.

A bumper arrangement for an automotive vehicle is disclosed which includes a bending-resistant bumper support resting on parts affixed to the vehicle, an undulating leaf spring extending over the length of the bumper arranged in front of this bumper support, and a cover which can be locked to the bumper support and which serves to hide the leaf spring from view. The leaf spring is fashioned integrally with the bumper support, and is preferably made of a reinforced synthetic resin. The wavy windings of the leaf spring are aligned in the support zone extending transversely with respect to the automotive vehicle, in the longitudinal vehicle direction, and, in the laterally wrapped-around end zones of the support, approximately in the transverse vehicle direction. Energy absorbing elements and impact buffers are interposed between the undulations of the leaf spring and between the bearing support and the adjacent section of the leaf spring.

Bumper for an automotive vehicle

A bumper arrangement for a motor vehicle, especially an automobile, with the bumper arrangement including a bending-resistant support mounted on a part integrally secured with the motor vehicle. A front of the support accommodates a preferably replacable energy absorber composed of at least one component. The energy absorber itself is partially surrounded by a shell made of a viscoelastic material. The shell is connected to a covering part of viscoelastic material having a downwardly projecting skirt segment and an upwardly extending segment which is extended in a direction toward adjoining body portions of the motor vehicle. A front side of the support is made essentially flat and is adapted to receive a middle segment of the covering part. For attachment of the shell to the covering part locally discontinuous guide grooves are provided in an area of the upper segment and skirt segment, the guide grooves being adapted to lockingly accommodate the appropriate projections or ends of the shell.
