A filter cartridge can include a media pack including media extending between a first end and a second end along a longitudinal axis; an end cap secured to the media and including: a seal member presenting a radially inward or outward facing seal surface, the seal member being formed from a first material; and a support structure including a base part and a plurality of spaced apart, radially flexible extensions, the support structure being formed from a second material harder and/or stiffer than the first material. At least a portion of the base part is covered by and/or embedded within the first material, and the plurality of flexible extensions includes an exposed portion that is uncovered by and/or embedded within the first material and defines an axial end of the filter cartridge and is coincident with a radial innermost portion of the end cap. The seal surface and the exposed portion of the flexible extensions are axially aligned such that a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis can pass through the seal member and through the exposed portion of the plurality of flexible extensions.

Filter elements and assemblies

The present disclosure relates to a filter element comprising a filter medium pack and a support arrangement comprising at least a shell member, and wherein a portion of the shell member is thermally welded to a circumferential face of the filter medium pack. The present disclosure further relates to a method of manufacturing such a filter element, the method comprising heating at least a portion of the shell member of the support arrangement, positioning the shell member around the circumferential face of the filter medium pack, pushing the heated circumferential portion of the shell member against the circumferential face of the filter medium pack, and allowing the circumferential portion of the shell member to cool down.

Filter element and method of manufacturing a filter element

The disclosure pertains to a filter assembly comprising a base, a cover, and a cylindrical filter element, the base being adapted to receive the cover with the filter element inserted therein. The base has an outlet orifice with a first sealing zone, and a drainage orifice with a second sealing zone. The filter element comprises an outlet tube with a first sealing element, and a drainage plug with a second sealing element, said outlet tube and said drainage plug being positioned to sealingly engage with said first sealing zone and said second sealing zone, respectively, when the base receives the cover. An axial distance (A) between the first sealing element and the second sealing element is different from an axial distance (B) between an end of the first sealing zone and an end of the second sealing zone facing the filter element. The present disclosure also pertains to a filter element for use in such a filter assembly.

Reflector lamp, particularly metal halogen vapor reflector lamp, comprising a reflector, which is rotationally symmetric about a central axis and which encloses, together with a cover, a lamp interior and which tapers toward a neck region opposite the cover, wherein a burner comprising a burner space and also pinched seals, which lie diametrically opposite each other on opposing sides of the burner space and through which corresponding supply lines are run, is arranged on the central axis in the lamp interior, wherein a tubular shielding enclosure, which is connected to the burner by means of a spring clip, is provided at least partially surrounding the burner.

The invention relates to a lighting mechanism with an elongated shield made of transparent material, a burner disposed in the center of the shield, sealed-off burner connectors including both a proximal burner connector and a distal burner connector, each of which projects diametrically away from the burner in the longitudinal direction of the shield so as to extend into a proximal and a distal end region of the shield. Supply leads pass into the shield by way of a crimped part thereof and are joined there to the burner connectors. In the region of the crimped part a supplementary space is provided that is open to the interior of the shield and into which at least a certain region of the proximal burner connector extends.

A reflector lamp having a concave reflector with a base at one end and a lens at an opposite end. A discharge lamp having a fill of or forming salts maintained by heat in a vapor phase is located near the base end of the reflector. When the reflector lamp is oriented in a near-horizontal position, the fill coming into contact with a colder, lower side of the discharge lamp partially condenses, coloring light passing through the condensate. At least two interior reflector surface areas, which have contours defined by rotating generatrices with configurations of conic section lines, reflect the colored light to distribute it evenly over a surface being illuminated and avoid creating a hot spot.

A lamp is made up a reflector, a base and a cover connected along their circumferences defining an inner cavity enclosing an arc tube coaxially oriented within the cavity and mounted to the base. A shroud surrounds the arc tube and is cemented to the base. An anti-glare cap and a clamping element is arranged between an end region on the side of the cover and the anti-glare cap affixed to the shroud via a clamping element.
