The invention concerns an apparatus, a method and a use of the apparatus for automatically twisting metal wires. The invention concerns in particular such an apparatus for connecting adjacent, preferably mutually crossing structural elements, comprising a wire feed means for feeding wire, preferably endless wire, into the apparatus, an arcuate wire guide which has a selectively openable and closable opening and which is adapted to guide the fed wire in the closed position along the arcuate wire guide from a first side of the arcuate wire guide to a second side of the arcuate wire guide, that is in opposite relationship with respect to the opening, a pulling slider adapted to engage the fed wire on the first side of the arcuate wire guide and to pull it towards the second side of the arcuate wire guide, and a twisting unit adapted to engage the fed wire on both sides of the arcuate wire guide and to twist it by means of a rotational movement.

The invention concerns a processing apparatus for processing an upper segment edge of a pylon segment of a concrete pylon for preparing the pylon segment for placement thereon of at least one further pylon segment. According to the invention it is proposed that the processing apparatus includes a processing means for processing the segment edge, and a carrier apparatus to be fixed in the region of the segment edge for displaceably carrying and guiding the processing means along the segment edge.

Apparatus and method for processing a concrete tower segment of a wind turbine

The present invention relates to a method for producing a tower segment of a concrete tower of a wind energy installation, comprising the steps: providing a segment mold having at least one formwork for defining a mold of the tower segment that is to be produced and for filling with concrete; filling the segment mold with concrete in order to form the tower segment by the subsequent hardening of the concrete; measuring the tower segment thus hardened for creating a three-dimensional, virtual actual model of said tower segment; producing said three-dimensional actual model; comparing the three-dimensional actual model with a predefined mold, in particular a stored three-dimensional, virtual target model; and determining a deviation between both virtual models and changing the segment mold, in particular changing the at least one formwork when the deviation exceeds a first predefined threshold value.
