PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser jointing method that joints two materials while imparting a sufficient strength thereto and minimizing heat influence. SOLUTION: The method overlaps first and second materials (V, V) on each other and irradiates the surface of the first material (V) with a laser light () from the side of the first material (V). When jointing both materials (V, V), the method intermittently irradiating an overlapped part of the first and second materials (V, V) with the laser light while moving the laser light () to form a welding bead () on the surface of the first material (V), wherein the length of the welding bead () is formed gradually shorter.

A plug contact is provided which comprises a first pin connected to two contact plates arranged parallel to one another. The two contact plates are connected by connecting elements to the two further pins which are arranged in the region of the connection of the first pin and are guided via a 180&#xb0; bend to the two further pins. The two contact plates comprise reciprocally associated notches between which a contact region is formed for contacting a contact pin. Owing to the selected geometry it is possible to introduce a contact pin from different directions into the contact region and retain the contact pin.
