A fastening element including a spike (1) having a stem (2) and a head (3), and a guide member (4) including a substantially cylindrical base body (5) having a central bore (6), and a plurality of longitudinal ribs (7) which extend along an entire length of the base body (5), are uniformly distributed over a circumference of the base body (5), and project radially past an axial projection of a circumferential profile of the had (3) of the spike (1), with each of the plurality of longitudinal ribs (7) having at least one locking tongue (8) projecting beyond an envelope curve (H) formed by the plurality of longitudinal ribs (7).

Fastening element

A nail magazine including a plurality of guide sleeves (2) for receiving each a nail-shaped fastening element (1) and arranged in a row next to each other in a spaced relationship with respect to each other, with each guide sleeve (2) including two end region (E.sub.1, E.sub.2) having a same cross-section, a central receiving bore (3) extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the guide sleeve (2), and a through-opening (7) located between the two end regions (E.sub.1, E.sub.2) and extending transverse to the longitudinal axis of the guide sleeve (2) and transverse to a longitudinal extent of the nail magazine, and a plurality of pairs of spaced from each other connection webs (4, 5) for connecting adjacent sides of two adjacent guide sleeves (2), respectively, with at least one region of each connection web having a cross-shaped cross-sectional surface (8).

Nail magazine

A nail magazine including a plurality of guide sleeves (2) for receiving each a nail-shaped fastening element (1) and arranged next to each other in a spaced relationship toward each other, forming a row of guide sleeves (2), with each guide sleeve (2) having two end regions (E.sub.1, E.sub.2) and central region (Z) having a radial extent smaller than a radial extent of both end regions (E.sub.1, E.sub.2,; and a plurality of connection webs (3) for connecting the guide sleeves (2) with each other, respectively, with each connection web (3) having a region (8) for connecting two adjacent sleeves (2) with each other, each connecting region (8) being spaced from a longitudinal axis of a respective guide sleeve (2) by a radial distance which is greater than a maximal radial extent of the guide sleeve (2), and having a height (H), which is measured in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the guide sleeve (2), smaller than its width (B) measured in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the guide sleeve (2) and transverse to the longitudinal extent of the nail magazine.

A plate-shaped cambered attachment element (1) for attaching a constructional element (9) to a foundation (7) and having a central bore (2) for receiving an anchoring element (11), an abutment shoulder (4) spaced from the base (3) of the attachment element (1) and extending toward the base (3), and an edge region (5) which extends toward the plate edge (6) of the attachment element (1) and extends to a plane, extending perpendicular to the axis of the core (2), at a shallow angle (W).

Attachment element

A fastening element such as a bolt, nail and the like to be driven into a receiving material, is formed of a high corrosion resistant steel. The fastening element has an axially extending leading region (1) to be driven into the receiving material and trailing region (2) with the two regions forming a single monolithic member. The diameter of the trailing region (2) is greater than that of the leading region (1) and has a hardness in the range of 35-43 Rockwell C hardness while the leading region has a hardness in the range of 46-55 Rockwell C hardness.
