A bearing arrangement for a medical device in which a rotating component is supported relative to a stationary housing includes a bearing with an inner ring and an outer ring. The inner ring is connected to the component which is to be supported and the outer ring is connected to the housing by way of at least one damping element. To increase quiet running of the rotating component, both the inner ring and also the outer ring are made as integral elements and have an essentially hollow cylindrical base contour, with an extension of the outer ring in the radial direction being at least twice the extension of the inner ring in the radial direction.

Bearing arrangement for a medical device

A bearing arrangement used in a medical device in which a rotating component is supported relative to a stationary housing includes a bearing comprising an inner ring and an outer ring, with the inner ring being connected to the component which is to be supported and the outer ring being connected to the housing. To increase quiet running of the rotating component, the connection between the inner ring and the component to be supported and/or between the outer ring and the housing is produced by an annular element which is made of plastic.

Bearing arrangement for medical device

A roller bearing (e.g., a cross taper roller bearing) includes an outer ring, an inner ring and rolling elements (e.g., taper rollers) located between the inner and outer rings. The rolling elements are kept at a distance by a cage formed from a number of individual cage segments. Each cage segment has two opposing guide sections for one of the rolling elements to at least partially encompass the rolling element on both sides. In addition, for the rolling elements bordering the one rolling element, the cage segment has guide sections which, in interaction with a corresponding guide section of an adjacent cage segment, at least partially encompass the bordering rolling elements.

Roller bearing for supporting members with limited axial movement, consisting of bearing elements having confronting raceways and a plurality of rolling elements held in a cage between the raceways. One of the raceways is bounded by flanges defining contact surfaces. At least one end surface of the cage (3) has elastic segments (9), radially oriented sections (10) of which engage in a groove (11) in one of the bearing elements. In the terminal axial positions of the one bearing element (2) relative to the other bearing element (1), the radially oriented sections (10) of the cage (3) rest against the lateral surfaces (13) of the groove (11).

The non-rotating bearing ring of a pivot mounted roller is mounted to be radially movable on an undulated spring and axially held between two machine parts. Friction is produced by relative radial movement between the end surface of the bearing ring and the radially extending surfaces of the machine parts, to result in damping by dissipation of energy. The rubbing surfaces can be coated with friction layer or a solid sliding washer can be employed instead of a coated surface.

Pivot mounted roller

A cage for a ball bearing, especially for an inclined ball bearing, is comprised of two side rings connected together by webs, with one of the side rings being outside of the pitch circle and the other side ring being inside of the pitch circle. Circumferentially resilient axially extending projections are provided extending from one of the side rings toward the other, radially inwardly or outwardly of the pitch circle, and recesses are formed by the webs and projections in the regions of minimum spacing between the balls.

An automatic adjustment arrangement for disk brakes has a flanged threaded nut and a threaded spindle threadedly coupled thereto arranged between the brake piston and the hand brake piston. The flange of the threaded nut is axially form-locked and radially displaceable relative to the brake piston. The threaded spindle is rotatably supported in a rolling bearing which is radially displaceable. The hand brake piston and threaded spindle are frictionally coupled. The extension of the adjustment member is produced by rotation of the threaded spindle. To avoid malfunctions, an automatic centering of the entire adjustment element relative to the brake piston as well as relative to the housing is provided. Manufacturing and assembly errors are thereby compensated for. The positions of the threaded spindle and threaded nut can be interchanged.

Automatic adjustment arrangement for disk brakes

A sealed rolling bearing in which the seal consists of a sealing lip and a sealing projection connected to a sealing body. When the sealing body is seated in a groove formed in the outer ring, the sealing lip abuts a side surface of a groove formed in the inner ring with prestress. The sealing lip and sealing projection abut under the influence of the prestress to form a conical, outwardly directed centrifugal surface for ejecting moisture and dirt through a gap seal formed between the sealing projection and a shoulder of the bearing inner ring.

Sealed rolling bearing

A cage for a ball bearing is formed by a series of side rings connected in a circular arrangement by crosspieces. The crosspieces have surfaces formed thereon for defining cage pockets in which balls are inserted and held. Each side ring is thin-walled, whereas the crosspieces are relatively thick, so that the cage is elastic. The walls of each cage pocket comprise four circular cylindrical surfaces, an opposing pair of which are integrally connected to converging conical surfaces formed on the projections. The projections may extend either radially inwardly or radially outwardly from the crosspieces or both. The balls of the bearing are held in the pockets by the converging conical surfaces.

A cage for ball bearings consists of two side rings connected together by webs, and having ball pockets with ball pockets having curved partial surfaces inside and outside of the pitch circle and displaced from one another in the axial direction. In this arrangement the rubbing between the walls of the cage pockets and the balls is very small and free space is provided for receiving a lubricant. The pocket walls of the cage sections lying in the region of one or the other of the side rings has several radially-overlying zones, with conical surfaces, the conical surfaces being arranged at different inclinations to the bearing axis.

In a bearing assembly particularly for wheel bearings comprising an inner ring having at least one radially outwardly directed fastening flange, an outer ring and a plurality of rolling elements in the annular space between the rings, a cap secured to the inner ring having a radial section extending between the outer ring and fastening flange and a seal ring fastened to the outer ring which slides on the cap, means defining at least one space between the radial cap section and the fastening flange of said inner ring, said space being filled at least partly with means which inhibits heat transfer from the inner ring to the cap.

Bearing assembly

A bearing cage having two rings connected by webs for angular contact two-row ball bearings where the bearing cage ring has cage pockets of a partial spherical shape. The radial plane of the bearing passes through the centers of the partial spheres and is placed off-center with respect to the bearing cage ring faces, the distance between the radial plane and the face less distant from the radial plane being preferably equal to the radius of the ball.

Ball bearing assembly for rotatably supporting a belt support roll on an axle comprising a pair of bearing rings having confronting spaced apart sections defining inner and outer raceways disposed at an angle to the normal axis for a plurality of balls. The inner bearing ring has a radial outwardly directed flange serving as means to secure the bearing to the roll casing and a flange extending radially inwardly from the race confronting a sleeve mounted on the axle. The outer bearing ring has an annular ring flange facing inwardly to the bearing axle confronting the radial flange of the inner bearing ring and terminating in an annular shoulder running axially for fastening to the axle. A sleeve circumscribes the axle and has a radially outwardly directed rib which forms with the inner bearing ring an annular chamber for a sealing agent. A seal with flocked fibers is interposed between the confronting inner flanges of the inner and outer bearing rings.
