A chucking device, which includes a rotationally-drivable spindle, a chucking means for mechanical chucking of a chucked object arranged on the spindle, a drive gearwheel, and a drive for rotationally driving the gearwheel. The chucking means has a rotating body, which has gear teeth and allows, through rotational movement, the chucked object to be chucked or unchucked. The drive gearwheel has gear teeth configured for complementary engagement with the gear teeth of the rotating body. The gear teeth of the rotating body and drive gearwheel are designed to provide flank play, such that the drive gearwheel can assume a neutral angular position with respect to the rotating body so that the gear teeth of the rotating body and drive gearwheel do not touch each other.

Device for chucking a tool or workpiece and method for operating such a chucking device

Device and method for positioning a precision part on a turntable (). The device () comprises at least two distance sensors (), which operate in a contactless manner and are situated in a previously known configuration to a rotational axis (A) of the turntable (). The measurement axes () of the distance sensors () are radially oriented in the direction of the rotational axis (A) so that the measurement axes () of the distance sensors () meet in a virtual measuring point (MV). The distance sensors () are connected to analysis electronics (). Output signals (a., a., a.) of the distance sensors () may be processed on the basis of the analysis electronics (), in order to allow coaxial centering of the precision part () in relation to the rotational axis (A) upon placement of the precision part () on the turntable ().

Device and method for positioning a rotationally-symmetric precision part

A measuring apparatus for measuring a workpiece (), comprising a turntable () for receiving the workpiece (), a base plate () with a turntable bearing, and a foundation () on which the base plate () rests. The turntable () comprises a vertical shaft (W) which is situated beneath the turntable () and is held by means of the turntable bearing in the base plate (). The turntable baring comprises an axial bearing () at a bottom face end () of the shaft (W) which is spaced from the turntable (). The shaft (W) is rotatably held on the axial bearing in such a way that the weight (G) of the workpiece (), when received by the turntable (), is introduced into the foundation () through the turntable (), the shaft (W) and the axial bearing ().

The scanning head according to the invention has the horizontal main axis (1) and is provided for numerically controlled gear measuring devices. Its feeler (2) is guided by a linear slide (4) and the latter is guided by a leaf spring parallelogram (11, 12, 13, 14) in the two coordinate directions (6) and (16). Mechanical devices (8) and (18) hold the feeler in a definite central position from which it can be deflected with the same measuring force in both the positive and negative coordinate directions. A centrally located two-dimensional ruled grating scale (10) detects all deflections of the feeler in the plane spanned by the two coordinates. To adjust the third coordinate direction, a pivot mechanism (3) is used, with a roller bearing (2) being provided for weight balance for the leaf spring parallelogram, the outer ring of the bearing being suspended by at least two springs (21, 22) on a fixed part (23) above the scanning head.
