A power-distributed wind turbine transmission for transmitting a torque generated by a rotor hub to an output pinion rotating with increased speed compared to the former to drive an electric generator, wherein at least two parallel-connected planetary stages are provided for power-distributed speed increase internal to the transmission, wherein further coupling of the rotor hub is carried out by means of a connection ring element on the input side of the transmission, which is rotatably supported by a large roller bearing at a fixed transmission housing, and which transmits the force flow in a power-distributed manner to the hollow gears of the parallel-connected planetary stages by means of cardan-like decoupling means formed thereon.

Drive unit

A ship's drive with two counterturning propellers, the rear propeller of which is fastened to an inner shaft and the front propeller of which is fastened to the head end of a hollow shaft, which runs concentrically with the inner shaft. The hollow shaft is connected to a gearing and the inner shaft is connected to a propulsion unit. A gearwheel is disposed at the foot end of the hollow shaft which engages a further gearwheel which is fastened to an input shaft running parallel to the inner shaft. The input shaft can be connected with the output of a second engine.

Ship drive with two counterturning propellers

A Kaplan turbine is provided. The Kaplan turbine includes a turbine shaft having a solid shaft and turbine blades on one end thereof. The turbine shaft has an end distal from the turbine blades which distal end includes a hollow shaft, a portion of the hollow shaft being developed as a cage. A drive shaft is connected on one end to a generator. The other end of the drive shaft extends within the hollow shaft and into the cage. The cage includes a gear assembly for transmitting rotational force from the turbine shaft to the drive shaft. A housing surrounds the cage and the gear assembly. The housing can be mounted on a foundation. The Kaplan turbine has thrust bearings mounted within the housing at interfaces between the cage and the housing. The Kaplan turbine also has radial bearings mounted in the housing at interfaces between the solid shaft and the housing and between the hollow shaft and the housing, respectively.
