Process and device for loading the spool pegs of a spool rack

A warp beamer having a frame supported on the floor and a horizontal warp beam rotatable on the frame has a step assembly provided with a step displaceable between a lower position supported directly on the floor and an upper position spaced well above the floor and of the warp beam. A motor connected between the step and the frame displaces the step between its positions. The step rides on a vertical guide on the frame and a lever assembly pivots the step between a horizontal position in the lower position and a generally vertical position in the upper position.

Warp beamer with service step

A disk brake for textile yarns is mounted upon a horizontal brake support for a warp creel with the disk axis disposed perpendicularly to the brake support. The upper disk can be adjustably loaded for adjusting the braking force. The entire adjustable range of the brake can be controlled with a single spring, which is below the horizontal brake support. The brake spring is disposed parallel to the brake support and is attached at one end preferably to an adjuster that can be shifted relative to the brake support and at the other end to a pivoting lever arm which presses vertically downwardly on the upper disk under the influence of the brake spring.

Driving device for a beam member of a warping or beaming machine includes a beam member holding piece connected to a beam and a rotatable driving element for the beam member, a clutch shiftable for locking together the driving element and holding piece, in engaged position of the driving device, and for unclocking the driving element and holding piece in disengaged position of the driving machine.
