A road vehicle with a vehicle frame and a rear axle connected to the vehicle frame is provided with an ambient air purification device with filter elements for removing dust, particulate matter, and gases from ambient air. The ambient air purification device is arranged transverse to a longitudinal vehicle axis in an exterior region of the road vehicle at a vehicle rear of the road vehicle in an underfloor region such that at least the filter elements are arranged behind the rear axle of the road vehicle in a travel direction of the road vehicle. The ambient air purification device is received in an installation space of the vehicle frame. The ambient air purification device is flowed through in longitudinal vehicle direction. A free outflow zone of the ambient air purification device is arranged, in travel direction of the road vehicle, behind the ambient air purification device.

An environmental air cleaning device for a road vehicle removes dust, particulate matter, and/or gases from environmental air. The environmental air cleaning device has one or more filter elements. The environmental air cleaning device is provided with a mounting device that rigidly couples to a vehicle-side mounting device for roof loads. A road vehicle with such an environmental air cleaning device is provided.

A filter element for filtering media with a pleated filter medium is described. Each pleat () is formed by two pleated sheets which form a pleat tip () with one another on the crude side () exposed to oncoming flow. Two neighboring pleats () form a pleat base () with one another, wherein the crude side () and/or the clean side () of the filter medium has a plurality of elongated adhesive sections along at least two adhesive traces (), each having at least one adhesive section and each having at least one adhesive interruption (). The mutual spacing of the two pleated sheets in the region of the pleat tip () is between zero and two mm or the two pleated sheets are in contact with one another in the region of the pleat tip (), wherein the pleat spacing () between the two pleated sheets of a pleat pocket () amounts to at least twice the pleat spacing in the region of the pleat tipin the region of the pleat base ().

Filter element for filtering media

A transmission oil filter has a filtration layer of fiberglass medium and, downstream of the filtration layer, a melt blown layer applied to the filtration layer for preventing or reducing introduction of fiberglass into the liquid to be filtered. The filtration layer of fiber glass medium has two faces and a spunbond layer is attached for improved handling of the filtration layer of fiberglass medium to at least one of the two faces.

The invention concerns a filter insert () that is provided as an exchangeable insert in a filter, in particular an oil filter, fuel filter or the like of an internal combustion engine. The filter comprises a filter housing () that can be separated along a separating plane () and the exchangeable filter insert () extending in an axial direction (). Two housing parts () of the filter housing () are sealed relative to one another along the separating plane () by means of a seal (). The seal () is secured slidably and captively in the axial direction () on the filter insert ().

A fuel filter system, particularly a diesel filter, including a housing, a particle filter arranged in the housing, and a coalescer element mounted on the particle filter. Fuel passes successively through the serially connected coalescer and particle filter. The coalescer element improves the separation of any water contained in the fuel to be filtered, while exhibiting no or no significant fuel-filtering properties.
