A drive apparatus for an isolator switch includes a motor and a gear mechanism. The gear mechanism has a drive shaft which can be driven in two opposite directions of rotation by the motor and the gear mechanism has an output shaft. A load torque lock prevents transmission of a load torque which acts on the output shaft to the drive shaft in either direction of rotation. An isolator switch with a drive apparatus is also provided.

A charging mechanism charges a stored-energy spring of a stored-energy spring mechanism. The charging mechanism contains a charging gear coupled to the stored-energy spring, an intermediate shaft coupled to the charging gear, an idler gear, a freewheel coupled to the idler gear, a locking mechanism for releasably locking the charging gear in a charged state of the stored-energy spring, and a dog clutch that couples the freewheel to the intermediate shaft to charge the stored-energy spring and uncouples same from the intermediate shaft in the charged state of the stored-energy spring. The dog clutch contains a first clutch block that is non-rotatably coupled to the intermediate shaft, a second clutch block connected to the freewheel, and a synchronizer ring disposed between the clutch blocks and is non-rotatably coupled to the first clutch block, the synchronizer ring is pressed against the second clutch block when the dog clutch is closed.

The present application relates to a clutch mechanism for an energy storage device including a load gear, a drive gear, a one-way bearing, a bushing, and a gear shaft including a gear portion and a clutch portion. The gear shaft includes multiple cylinders, and a push rod, a rotary sleeve and an elastic element located in a cavity of the gear shaft. The push rod includes a push rod slide hole and a push rod connecting hole, for connecting to the gear shaft and the rotary sleeve, respectively. A press block is fixed to the drive gear, the press block being capable of pushing the push rod to slide axially, so as to unlock or lock the bushing and the gear shaft. A gas insulated circuit breaker using such a clutch mechanism is also disclosed.

A latching device has a resetting device, a triggering device for producing a triggering force which acts in a first direction, a compression element, and an upper and a lower supporting element which, in the latched state, are arranged one above the other in a housing and are connected to each other by at least one coupler such that they are at a distance from each other, and which, in the latched state, are acted upon, to provide a spring-type drive, by a compressive force applied along a line of action via the compression element. The lower supporting element, loaded by the compressive force in the latched state, is deflected against a stop and is held in that position. The paths of movement of the upper and of the lower supporting element are defined by the housing by way of guides. The path of movement for the lower supporting element runs substantially perpendicular to the path of movement of the upper supporting element.

In a high-voltage circuit breaker, in particular having three poles, each circuit-breaker pole having at least one interrupter unit whose actuatable switching contact can be actuated by a joint actuating mechanism via a switching rod so that in the event of a closing operation there is a time delay at least between the closing of the interrupter units of two circuit-breaker poles. The switching rods of the second and/or third circuit-breaker pole are connected to the actuating mechanism via spring elements that are compressible in the event of a closing operation and expand after contact has been made.
