Disclosed herein is a composition comprising a cementitious material, a pozzolanic material, aplite, and an aqueous fluid. Also disclosed herein is a method of servicing a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation, comprising: placing the composition into the wellbore; and allowing the composition to form a set cement. The composition can develop suitable mechanical properties and permeability after setting in a wellbore and be expansive.

A method comprises predicting a depth of carbonation in a cement sheath; predicting spatially varying mechanical properties of the cement composition due to the carbonation; and determining a mechanical response of the cement sheath based on the spatially varying mechanical properties of the cement composition.

Disclosed herein is a surfactant package comprising a base oil, a mutual solvent, and a surfactant, wherein the surfactant is selected from the group consisting of alcohol ethoxylates, fatty alcohol ethoxylates, alkylphenol ethoxylates, nonoxynols, fatty acid esters of sorbitol, alkyl ether carboxylic acids, ethoxysulfates, and combinations thereof. Also disclosed herein is a wellbore servicing fluid comprising an aqueous fluid and the surfactant package. The wellbore servicing fluid can be used in a method of servicing a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The wellbore servicing fluid has an increased mud removal percentage, is compatible with an OBM and a cementitious fluid, and has reduced environmental impacts. The surfactant package can be added into the wellbore servicing fluid as a single component, which can save storage space and preparation time of the wellbore servicing fluid, thus the surfactant package can be used at a location having limited equipment/tools/space (e.g., an offshore platform). The surfactant package is a homogeneous fluid, which facilitates storage and transportation, and saves preparation time of the wellbore servicing fluid.

A system and method for injecting bailer content utilizing a dump bailer having an elongated, flexible bailer receptacle secured between a head assembly and an injection assembly. Disposed within the dump bailer are first and second piston assemblies, each of which includes a piston having a central fluid passage with a pressure actuated flow control mechanism in the form of a rupture disk disposed along the fluid passage of the piston. An electric, positive displacement pump within the head assembly draws wellbore fluid into the dump bailer assembly to drive the first piston assembly towards the second piston assembly so as to release bailer content into a wellbore. The elongated flexible bailer receptacle may be a hose stored on a bailer receptacle reel, which hose may be paid out by the reel to a length that corresponds with a volume of bailer content to be released into the wellbore.

A method of designing a cement slurry may include: (a) selecting a target permeability and a density requirement; (b) inputting the target permeability into a permeability model and generating a proposed cement composition using the permeability model, wherein the proposed cement composition comprises at least a cement and concentration thereof, and a water and concentration thereof such that a cement slurry formed from the proposed cement composition water meet the density requirement; (c) preparing the cement slurry based on the proposed cement composition; and (d) introducing the cement slurry into a wellbore and allowing the cement slurry to set to form a hardened cement.

A wiper plug can be used in wellbore operations. The wiper plug can include a fishing neck located at a rear portion of the plug. The fishing neck can be a male or female fishing neck. A corresponding male or female fishing tool can be used to retrieve the wiper plug from a tubing string. The wiper plug can include a nose that can land on a landing tool or a female fishing neck of another wiper plug. The wiper plug can be introduced into the tubing string before or after a cement composition. The wiper plug can include a rupture disk that allows an operator at a wellhead to observe a pressure change to indicate the location of the wiper plug and fluid within the tubing string.

A method comprising (a) contacting a suspension composition, water, and optionally one or more additives to form a wellbore servicing fluid at a location proximate a wellsite; wherein the suspension composition comprises a particulate material, an organic carrier fluid, and a suspension viscosifier; and (b) placing the wellbore servicing fluid in a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. Provided are wiper plugs with removable cores and methods of using the wiper plugs with removable cores. An example wiper plug with a removable core comprises a molded body, a wiper, a cavity through the interior of the molded body, a support disposed in the cavity, and the removable core disposed in the cavity. An example method of use comprises removing the core of the wiper plug without drilling through the wiper plug, and leaving the remainder of the wiper plug in the wellbore.

A downhole tool component may be deployed in a wellbore such that a flexible portion of the tool component is constrained to a first range of motion. By applying a force to the flexible portion, a flexible carrier material applied around the flexible portion of the tool component may be compressed and collapsible objects carried by the carrier material to be collapsed to permit the flexible portion to move through a second range of motion greater than the first range of motion. Cement in the wellbore may constrain movement of the flexible portion, and an elastomeric sheet may be compressed, and glass spheres carried by the elastomeric sheet may be crushed to create voids through which the flexible portion may move. Closure of a barrier valve may be effected by the operation of an actuator assembly that relies on movement of the flexible portion through the second range of motion.

An example cement plugging apparatus comprises a detachable plug fundament assembly comprising: a throughbore, a first plurality of wiper elements, and a second plurality of wiper elements. The examples cement plugging apparatus further comprises a cement diverting assembly coupled to the plug fundament assembly, wherein the cement diverting assembly comprises: a plurality of hoses, a body, a throughbore in the body, and a plurality of flow paths extending through the body and having openings for each individual flow path in the throughbore; wherein each individual hose in the plurality is coupled to an individual flow path in the plurality; and wherein each individual hose in the plurality extends away from the body of the cement diverting assembly.
