A method of manufacturing an organic light emitting display apparatus by utilizing a deposition apparatus for forming an organic layer on a substrate includes: fixing the substrate to a mask assembly for forming a common layer or a mask assembly for forming a pattern layer in a loading unit; when the one or more deposition assemblies are separated from the substrate, forming an intermediate layer by depositing a deposition material discharged from the one or more deposition assemblies in a deposition unit of the deposition apparatus onto the substrate while the substrate is moved relative to the one or more deposition assemblies by a first conveyer unit; and separating the substrate on which the deposition is finished from the mask assembly for forming the common layer or the mask assembly for forming the pattern layer in an unloading unit.

Method of manufacturing organic light emitting display apparatus

A display device including: an organic light emitting display unit formed on a first substrate, the organic light emitting display unit comprising first and second electrodes facing each other, and an organic emissive layer formed between the first and second electrodes; and a liquid crystal display unit formed on a second substrate facing the first substrate, the liquid crystal display unit configured to operate as a liquid crystal shutter in response to an electrical potential difference, wherein a resonance structure of the organic light emitting display unit enables the liquid crystal display unit to form an image in a color reflected from each pixel of the organic light emitting display unit.

Organic light-emitting display device

Organic light-emitting display device and method of manufacturing the same

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one embodiment, the OLED display includes i) a substrate having first and second surfaces opposing each other and ii) an organic light emitting diode (OLED) formed over the substrate, wherein the OLED is closer to the first surface than the second surface of the substrate. The display may also include i) a light scattering layer formed between the first surface of the substrate and the organic light emitting diode and ii) a light absorbing layer formed between the first surface of the substrate and the light scattering layer or on the second surface of the substrate.

An organic light-emitting display apparatus including: a substrate; a plurality of pixels on a first surface of the substrate, each pixel of the pixels having a first region in which visible rays are emitted and a second region through which external light penetrates, such that the plurality of pixels provide a plurality of first and second regions; a plurality of pixel circuit units in the first region of each pixel, each pixel circuit unit of the pixel circuit units including at least one thin film transistor (TFT); a plurality of first electrodes independently disposed in the first region of each pixel, each first electrode of the first electrodes being electrically connected to each pixel circuit unit; a second electrode facing the first electrodes, the second electrode being electrically connected throughout the pixels; and an intermediate layer including an organic emitting layer between the first electrodes and the second electrode.

Organic light-emitting display apparatus and method of manufacturing the same

A flat panel display, which can save manufacturing costs and allow various types of dither masks to be applied, and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The flat panel display includes a look-up table (LUT) storing one dither mask, which is used to algorithmically generate additional dither masks. The dither masks are applied to image data to improve image quality.
