A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a locking head having a base and a compressible element supported by the base. The locking head is adjustable between an unlocked configuration, in which the compressible element is uncompressed and insertable into and removable from an opening of the portable electronic device, and a locked configuration, in which the compressible element is compressed and secured within the opening of the portable electronic device.

A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a locking head including a first part having a first base portion configured to be inserted into an opening of the portable electronic device, a second part that is separate from the first part, the second part having a second base portion configured to be inserted into the opening, and an aperture formed through the first part and the second part. The security apparatus also includes a cable threaded through the aperture to inhibit separation of the first part from the second part and removal of the locking head from the opening. The cable is configured to engage the immovable object.

A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a locking head having a base and a plurality of pillar structures extending from the base. The plurality of pillar structures is configured to be inserted into an aperture of the portable electronic device. The locking head also has a ball positioned within each of the plurality of pillar structures. The ball is extendable outwardly from a corresponding pillar structure to inhibit the locking head from being removed from the aperture. The locking head further has a linear movable structure positioned within each of the plurality of pillar structures and operable to selectively extend outwardly each ball from the plurality of pillar structures. The first linear element is configured to be inserted into the aperture of the portable electronic device. The locking head also has a movable engagement element coupled to an end of the first linear element opposite from the base. The movable engagement element is configured to be inserted into the aperture of the portable electronic device with the first linear element. The movable engagement element is movable to a position in which the movable engagement element is perpendicular to the first linear element to secure the locking head to the portable electronic device. The security apparatus also includes a security device attached to the locking head and configured to engage the immovable object.

A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a locking head having a base and a plurality of engagement portions extending from the base. The plurality of engagement portions is configured to be inserted into an aperture of the portable electronic device. The locking head also includes a linear portion positioned between the plurality of engagement portions and extending from the base. The linear portion is twistable about its length to move the plurality of engagement portions radially outward. The security apparatus further includes a security device attached to the locking head and configured to engage the immovable object.

A security apparatus for a portable electronic device includes a locking head having a base and an engagement element extending from the base and adapted to be inserted into an aperture of the portable electronic device. The engagement element includes a wedge-shaped engagement portion configured to engage part of the portable electronic device when inserted into the aperture. The locking head also has a stabilizing element extending from the base and slidable along a side of the engagement element into the aperture of the portable electronic device, thereby inhibiting the engagement element from being removed from the aperture. The security apparatus further includes a security device attached to the locking head and configured to engage the immovable object.

A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a head having a base. The head also includes a plurality of engagement elements extending from the base and configured to be inserted into an aperture of the portable electronic device. The plurality of engagement elements is movable relative to the body while inserted into the aperture to engage a portion of the portable electronic device. The head further includes a linear element positioned between the plurality of engagement elements. The linear element is movable relative to the plurality of engagement elements to push the plurality of engagement elements radially outward. The security apparatus also includes a security device attached to the head and configured to engage the immovable object.

A security apparatus is disclosed. The security apparatus is used with a lock interface member attached to a housing of a portable electronic device. The security apparatus may include an engagement element as well as a stabilizing element. The engagement element and the stabilizing element may secure the security apparatus to the lock interface member, and therefore to the housing of the portable electronic device.

A lock device for use with a key is disclosed. The lock device includes a locking spindle including a plurality of locking spindle bores and a passage extending axially along an axial length of the locking spindle, and a driver structure including a plurality of driver structure bores. An interface between the driver structure and the locking spindle forms a shear line. The lock device also includes a plurality of combination pins in the plurality of locking spindle bores, and a plurality of driver pins in the driver structure bores in the driver structure, the plurality of driver pins being respectively associated with the plurality of combination pins.

A computing device mounting system is described comprising a housing defining a volume and at least one throughhole extending through the housing from a first side of the housing to a second side of the housing; and at least one fastener comprising a first connection mechanism at a first end and a second connection mechanism at a second end, wherein the first connection mechanism of the at least one fastener is arranged to protrude through the at least one throughhole and interfit with a third connection mechanism of a display and wherein the second connection mechanism of the at least one fastener is arranged to interfit with a fourth connection mechanism of a mount.

The chassis includes a first locking mechanism, a first structure for engaging and releasing the first locking mechanism, a second locking mechanism and a second structure for engaging and releasing the second locking mechanism. The front panel includes a first mating portion for receipt at the first locking mechanism, wherein the first mating portion is removably engaged with the first locking mechanism, and a second mating portion for receipt at the second locking mechanism, wherein the second mating portion is removably engaged with the second locking mechanism.
