A system comprises a writing instrument. The writing instrument comprises an ink, wherein the ink comprises a coloring agent and a bonding agent. The adhesiveness of the bonding agent can be altered by applying a voltage or a voltage and a current. Further, the system comprises a writing surface comprising a first electrode and a second electrode or a writing surface comprising a first electrode and an erasing tool comprising a second electrode.

Efficient ink erasure system

There is a non-aqueous gel writing ink having an organic solvent, a coloring agent and a gelling agent, and the gelling agent is non-oxidized cellulose nanofibers. There also is a use of non-oxidized cellulose nanofibers as a gelling agent in a non-aqueous gel writing ink. There is finally a writing instrument having the ink according to the present disclosure.

It also concerns the process of preparation of the non-aqueous gel writing ink and the use of a mixture of silica particles and of a fatty acid amide wax, as a gelling agent in a non-aqueous gel writing ink. It finally concerns a writing instrument containing the ink according to the present disclosure.

Writing gel ink

There also is a writing instrument having a thermochromic ink composition and an erasing tool. Finally, there is a method for irreversibly erasing a written line made with a thermochromic ink composition and erased with an erasing tool.

A device for reproducing a color on demand. The device includes a body including a tip and a scanner. The body also includes a control unit, a plurality of ink reservoirs, an ink supply system, a mixing tank and a sensor. The control unit communicates with the scanner and ink supply system to reproduce a desired color that has been scanned.
