The present invention relates to method for monitoring an engine () of an aircraft () operating in a given environment. The invention is characterized in that it comprises the implementation, via means for data processing (), of the steps of: (a) receiving a sequence of n-tuples (x. . . x; y) of physical-parameter values relating to said aircraft () engine (), including at least one endogenous parameter specific to the operation of the engine () and at least one exogenous parameter specific to said environment; (b) For each n-tuple (x. . . x, y) of the received sequence, calculating, according to a regression model, a standardized value (y) of the endogenous parameter in relation to the exogenous parameters; (c) identifying at least one stabilized phase in said normalized sequence of n-tuples (x. . . x; y) from a set of phase signatures; (d) for each stabilized phase, calculating the mean values of the physical parameters on the portion of the sequence of n-tuples (x. . . x; y) corresponding to the stabilized phase, in order to obtain an n-tuple (x. . . x; y) defining a recurrent point of said flight of the aircraft ().

Method for monitoring an aircraft engine operating in a given environment

A method of creating a database of operating states of an aircraft fleet, in which a computer executes the steps of acquiring parameters wherein a state of operation of an aircraft of the aircraft fleet; acquiring at least one item of degradation information indicative of a level of degradation of at least one aircraft from among the fleet of aircraft; storing series of parameters in said database, each series of parameters including parameters wherein a state of operation of one of the aircraft and if the item of degradation information has been acquired, at least one item of degradation information indicative of a level of degradation of the aircraft.

Methods of creating a database and of formulating a map of operating states of aircraft and a method of monitoring the operation of an associated aircraft

Monitoring the propulsion system of an aircraft includes selecting elements representative of operation of the propulsion system, modeling the propulsion system by a model including the selected elements, a set of exogenic parameters of the propulsion system and interdependence relations between the elements, operation of a given element being modelled by at least one endogenic parameter dependent on at least one of the exogenic parameters and/or on at least one parameter of another element, and analyzing elements, the analysis of the given element including the expression of the at least one endogenic parameter of the given element as a function only of exogenic parameters of the propulsion system and being made by layers of different levels, a layer of a given level being capable of taking account of at least one parameter that is the result of a layer of a different analysis level of another element.
