A rescue device includes a pulley includes a support flange with two rotation shafts mounted salient and extending in a first direction. Two sheaves are mounted rotatable around two rotation shafts to define a running line of a cable. Two flanges are mounted rotatable between a first position and a second position. A first blocker is configured to present a first position blocking the first flange in the closed position and a second position allowing rotation of the first flange. A second blocker is configured to present a first position blocking the second flange in the closed position and a second position allowing rotation of the second flange. The second blocker is independent from the first blocker.

Double pulley, rescue device comprising such double pulley and method for using such rescue device

A pulley includes a securing head and a first flange. A first shaft extends from the first flange. A sheave is mounted rotatable around the first shaft in one direction of rotation only. A cam is mounted able to move away from or towards the sheave. A spring is fitted to exert a force moving the cam towards the sheave. A handle is mounted on the first flange to move the cam between the first and second positions.

The pulley comprises a securing head and a first flange. A first shaft extends from the first flange. A second flange and a sheave are mounted rotatable around the first shaft with respect to the first flange. A rod is fixed to the first flange and mounted movable between a first position and a second position with a first movement. In the first position, the rod engages with the second flange to keep the second flange in the first position. In the second position, the rod allows rotation of the second flange. A blanking plate is fixed on the second flange and mounted movable between a first position and a second position with a second movement different from the first movement. The blanking plate partially covers the rod to prevent movement of the rod from the first position to the second position.

Lanyard having at least one belaying strap connected with a swivel connection which comprises two assembly parts able to rotate with respect to one another with a relative rotational movement. The two assembly parts of tubular shape are engaged coaxially in one another, the first outer part having a larger diameter than that of the second inner part. At least one of the parts is provided with a slot or hole for fitting securing means designed to secure the two parts in rotation in the engaged state. An ice screw comprises an elongated shaft with an external thread, and a bit with teeth. Each tooth has a cutting edge, and the bit is provided at a longitudinal end of the shaft. A notch is formed in bit at the base of each cutting edge in order to delimit a sharpening reserve of the associated tooth.
