A device for heating an amount of liquid in a container using steam, comprising a steam conduit coaxially arranged in a tubular element which axially extends substantially from the inlet end to the outlet end of the steam conduit from which it is radially spaced thereby forming a first axially-extending annular air gap. Said tubular element is coaxially arranged in a sleeve thereby forming a second axially-extending air gap, said first air gap and said second air gap being closed at both respective axial ends on said tubular element. The steam conduit is made of a polymeric material having a low heat transfer coefficient, the tubular element is made of a metal material and said sleeve is also made of a polymeric material having a low heat transfer coefficient.

Method for analyzing the structure of a sample of ground coffee, and in particular for determining the grain size curve, by means of computed X-ray tomography, the method comprising: acquiring a plurality of two-dimensional radiographic images while the sample is in rotation, processing the plurality of two-dimensional radiographic images performing a tomographic reconstruction to generate a reconstructed image of volume, processing the reconstructed volume image to identify a plurality of coffee particles of the sample of ground coffee separated from one another and determining at least one dimensional magnitude for each particle of ground coffee of the plurality.

Method of analysing ground coffee

A replaceable end-piece which can be connected to the dispensing end, which is provided with connection means of the vapor nozzle of a coffee machine for heating and frothing a given quantity of milk contained in a jug, into which the nozzle is introduced. A tubular sleeve is provided with two ends, the first end of which is open and is provided with reversible connection means corresponding to those of the dispensing end of the nozzle. The sleeve defines at the inner side thereof a recess which extends in accordance with a longitudinal axis. The second end of the sleeve is also open and includes a body inserted therein, the body being provided with a plurality of channels connecting the recess to the external environment of the end-piece facing the second end of the sleeve.
