The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat comprising a seat sub-frame adjustable along a rail longitudinal guide to which a backrest is hinged in a pivoting manner and can be folded forward toward a seating surface of the seat sub-frame, a locking device for arresting the rail longitudinal guide in an adjustable seating longitudinal position, an entry aid by means of which the locking device is released, when the backrest is folded forward to the seating surface and a memory arrangement for adjusting and restoring a memory position having a position memory that has an adjustment means for adjusting the memory position in the rail longitudinal direction of the rail longitudinal guide and a locking element that is connected to the adjustment means in a pivoting manner that under the effect of a control element can be pivoted in a locking rail for locking the adjusted memory position and pivoted out of the locking rail for adjusting a memory position and is connected to the adjustment means via a slotted guide such that a virtual point of rotation of the locking element lies underneath the rail profile of the locking rail.

An actuating element for a lordosis supporting device driven by a traction rope and a lordosis supporting element in a vehicle seat are provided. The actuating device includes a deflecting element that is mounted on a frame such that it is pivotable about an actuating shaft and includes a rope guiding element that is arranged with the fastening point and the deflecting element in such a way that a rope portion leading toward the deflecting element and a rope portion leading away from the deflecting element are guided approximately parallel in a starting position. In preferred embodiments, a fixed end of the traction rope is fastened to the frame at a fastening point and a free end of the traction rope is guided at least partially around the deflecting element for actuating the device.

A backrest structure for a motor vehicle seat includes a rest frame forming the supporting structure of the backrest. The rest frame includes at least two longitudinal struts running in the longitudinal direction of the backrest. The backrest structure also includes a lumbar support arranged on the front side of the rest frame for supporting the back region of a motor vehicle occupant. The lumbar support includes a transverse traverse being adjustable along the longitudinal struts with a height adjusting device, to which a support device is hinged and is adjustable with a depth adjusting device substantially perpendicular to the transverse traverse. The lumbar support further includes a retaining device supporting the transverse traverse and extending substantially in the longitudinal direction of the backrest and receiving the height adjusting device.

Backrest structure for a motor vehicle seat

A spindle drive for a lumbar support in a backrest structure of a motor vehicle seat includes two gliders guided on a carrier of the lumbar support. Each glider is connected to a spindle nut which is engaged with an associated thread section of a spindle. The thread sections have threads of opposite thread pitch, so that the gliders are movable in opposite directions and pivot towards and away from the carrier supporting bails of a supporting device hinged to the carrier and being adjustable substantially perpendicular to the carrier. At least one of the spindle nuts partly encompasses the spindle and can be clipped onto its associated thread section of the spindle.
