A self-locking spindle traction mechanism for use in surgical procedures has a longitudinal axis (L). The mechanism may include an operating end, a connecting end for connecting a surgical accessory, and a threaded spindle drive. The spindle drive may include a spindle having an external thread, and a spindle nut that is seated on the spindle and has an internal thread. The mechanism may include a slide that is movable along the longitudinal axis by a relative rotation between the spindle and the spindle nut, a drive device that is situated on the operating end for rotationally driving the threaded spindle drive, and a gear. The gear may be connected between the drive device and the threaded spindle drive, so that the gear is configured for stepping up the speed of a rotational movement of the drive device and delivering it to the threaded spindle drive.

Quickly adjustable compact spindle traction mechanism with self-locking for use in surgical interventions

A fail-safe drive () for an actuating drive is provided, which has a cam disc (), at least one restoring element, a counter-element () and an output shaft (), with the cam disc () and the counter-element () being configured for joint conversion of an axial movement of the restoring element along the output shaft () into a rotational movement of the output shaft (). The cam disc () has a control cam (), the profile of which is adapted to a spring characteristic curve of the restoring element such that, in the case of activation of the failsafe drive (), a constant output movement and/or a constant output torque can be generated.

Fail-safe drive and actuating drive with a fail-safe drive

An actuator () having an energy accumulator (), with which an emergency drive () can be supplied, is configured to be tensioned by an electric motor (). A medical support arm may include a holding end, a coupling end, a coupling-end pivot joint for swiveling the support arm about a pivot axis (A) and tilting the support arm about a tilt axis (A), and a clamping mechanism with which the pivot joint can be locked or released as desired. The pivot joint allows the support arm to rotate exclusively about the tilt axis (A) and the pivot axis (A). A tilting device may have a tilting element and a cylindrical sliding surface on which the tilting element is seated. A pivot mechanism can have a guide ring and at least one ring guide surface that receives the guide ring. A tilting element, as part of the clamping mechanism, may be provided as a gripper clamp that secures both the tilting device and the pivot mechanism against rotation by clamping the central body.

An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes an operating table column head assembly, a patient support surface assembly that is movable relative to the operating table column head assembly, and an actuating cylinder configured to move the patient support surface assembly relative to the operating table column head assembly, the actuating cylinder including a piston rod. A first gear rack is attached to the operating table column head assembly and a second gear rack is attached to the patient support surface assembly. A gear assembly is disposed on the piston rod of the actuating cylinder. The gear assembly engages with the first gear rack and the second gear rack. The first gear rack and the second gear rack move in substantially opposite directions relative to the gear assembly, when the actuating cylinder is actuated.

An operating table clamp is disclosed. The operating table clamp has a base body, a clamp assembly disposed on the base body, the clamp assembly having at least one bearing member configured to bear against the operating table member, and an activating member that is connected to the clamp assembly, the clamp assembly being brought by the activating member into a locked state in which the bearing member of the clamp assembly bears against the operating table member. In the locked state of the clamp assembly, the bearing member engages with an edge region of the operating table member, the edge region including an edge that is disposed between a first operating table member surface and a second operating table member surface, the first and second operating table member surfaces being angled relative to each other.

A device for height adjustment of an operating table, including a lifting carriage which is movable relative to a chassis of the operating table, including a primary guide having a first longitudinal axis about which the lifting carriage is rotatable, including a secondary guide having a second longitudinal axis, and including a guide means which is connected to the chassis of the operating table and which has a contact area in which the guide means contacts the secondary guide in a contact area of the secondary guide. The primary guide and the secondary guide serve for guiding a lifting motion of the lifting carriage within an adjustment range of the lifting carriage parallel to the first longitudinal axis, wherein a plane extending perpendicular to the first longitudinal axis and through the guide means has a first point of intersection with the first longitudinal axis and a second point of intersection with the second longitudinal axis, and wherein the position of the second point of intersection changes by a displacement distance during the lifting motion of the lifting carriage within the adjustment range thereof.

Device for height adjustment of an operating table

An operating table base for an operating table is disclosed. The operating table base comprises at least two transport rollers that are moveable between a retracted position, in the base, and an extracted position, extending from the base. The operating table rests on at least one support element of the operating table when the rollers are in the retracted position. The operating table is movable on the transport rollers when the rollers are in the extracted position. The operating table base includes a first mechanical adjusting unit for moving the first transport roller between the retracted position and the extracted position and a second mechanical adjusting unit for moving the second transport roller between the retracted position and the extracted position. Both the first and the second adjusting units are actuatable by a first drive unit which is connected to the first and the second adjusting units via a mechanical connecting means.

The patient support surface has at least two longitudinal beams () parallel to each other that carry a pelvic support plate. Extension device

An operating table column has a column part a head part, and a plurality of actuating drives that each comprise a first element and a second element that can be linearly adjusted relative to this first element and that acts upon the head part. The first element of a first actuating drive is connected to the column part, while the head part is pivotably connected to the second element of the first actuating drive. The first element of a second actuating drive is pivotably connected to the column part, whereby, the head part is pivotably connected to the second element of the second actuating drive. The first element of a third actuating drive is connected at a distance from the head part to the second element of the first actuating drive and the second element of the third actuating drive is connected to the head part via respective universal joints.
