An operating element for a vehicle interior is integrated in a flexible material and comprises an electroluminescent layer arranged between a first conducting layer and a second conducting layer. The arrangement of the first conducting layer, the second conducting layer and the electroluminescent layer is configured to be operable as a capacitive sensor.

A knee protection device for a motor vehicle, is arranged in the area of a control panel and comprises a knee impact wall having a foam material pad, which knee impact wall extends adjacent to knees of vehicle occupants. Knee protection device for occupants of a motor vehicle

A fastening arrangement for a center console module of a motor vehicle includes a transversely extending assembly carrier, a pedal bracket rigidly fastened to the assembly carrier, and a front wall cover connected with the pedal bracket. The assembly carrier is fastened by way of first screwed connections to the two adjoining opposite A-columns, and the front wall cover is fastened by way of second screwed connections to the front wall. So that a clean joint pattern is created between the control panel and the adjoining covering parts in the vehicle occupant compartment, while the mounting is simple and reliable with respect to the process and irrespective of the occurring body shell tolerances, it is provided that one stop part respectively for fastening the assembly carrier in the X-direction is arranged on the two A-columns, and that, between the pedal bracket and the front wall cover, an adjusting device is connected, by means of which body shell and manufacturing tolerances in the X-direction can be compensated.

Fastening arrangement for a center console module of a motor vehicle

A knee support is arranged inside a body of the motor vehicle and exhibits a transverse frame member, which extends at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, is held at rigid, lateral body structures, and is provided with at least one deformation element. This deformation element comprises several hollow brackets, defined by bracket walls, and is covered by a support wall, facing the occupants' knees. The deformation element exhibits a first hollow bracket segment, which runs along the support wall, and a second additional hollow bracket segment, which is arranged at an angle to the first hollow bracket segment, whereby the second hollow bracket segment is attached to the transverse frame member.

Knee support for motor vehicles

A knee support is arranged in the area of a control panel inside a passenger compartment of a body of a motor vehicle and exhibits a transverse frame member, which is provided with at least one deformation element. The deformation element, covered at least in areas in relation to the passenger compartment by a support wall of the control panel, includes a first bracket segment, which is in alignment with the knee impact areas, and a second bracket segment, which is connected to the transverse frame member, in such a manner that the first bracket segment absorbs energy primarily by flection; the second bracket segment, as a function of the load by compression and/or flection; and optionally the transverse frame member absorbs energy as a function of the load by flection and/or by torsion.
