A relay for use particularly in motor vehicles has a stable ferromagnetic core, an excitation coil wound around the core and a movable assembly, composed by a movable ferromagnetic armature, connected to a blade carrying an electric contact. The blade is movable with respect to the armature and has a fulcrum in an appropriate seat obtained in the armature. The blade is constrained to the armature in an elastic fashion, but is suitable to produce a damping effect on the bouncing phenomenon. The relay also has a return spring to maintain the assembly in a position of maximum air gap with respect to the stable core, when the device is in a release condition, whereby a leaf spring is provided, being fixed in a predetermined point of the movable armature, which constrains for elastic reaction the movement of the movable blade and maintains the desired pressure contact on the electric contact.

A device is described, for the connection, both mechanical and electrical, of a terminal of electric and/or electronic components. The device has a contact element which is permanently elastic, made of a foil of electrically conductive material, said contact element including an insertion zone for the terminal defined by two opposite hemisurfaces, and a flexion slot of the two hemisurfaces, contiguous to the contact zone, for allowing the insertion of the terminal in a stressed condition of the hemisurfaces within the limits of elasticity of the material constituting the foil.

The relay also includes a return spring to maintain a maximum air gap for the armature with respect to the core when the device is in a release condition. At least one closure and/or opening contact is activated by the movable armature, through its contact when it is drawn or released by the core. An intermediate support element for the flexible foil is provided on one of the elements of the movable assembly.
