A vehicle roof having a fixed roof element having a glass, plastic or sheet metal panel provided with a circumferential molded section which is formed by a section foam molded to an edge or a section injection molded to the edge. A circumferential frame-like connecting plate may be fastened to the glass, plastic or sheet metal panel by means of the molded section and has a circumferential adhesive surface for attaching the fixed roof element to a vehicle body.

A lid member of a vehicle roof is disclosed having a plate-like lid body having an inner and an outer large face, to which a moulded plastic portion has been moulded. The moulded plastic portion can be configured to receive an insert which is embodied as a hollow body, and which rests against the inner large face of the lid body. The insert may have an abutment flange, which limits a hollow space opening and which is provided with a circumferential sealing rib which rests against the inner large face of the lid body.

A vehicle roof module having a transparent roof element and a roller blind apparatus arranged under the roof element and having a roller blind track, which is wound on a winding shaft and can be pulled out to cover the underside of the roof element, and which is guided by a drain edge when pulled out from the winding shaft, wherein, according to the invention, foam material attached on or around the roof element contains a drain edge body having the drain edge.

The foam encapsulation is arranged at least particularly spaced apart from an edge of the anti-shatter film, which edge is formed on the pane.
