A filter insert is useful for the separation of liquid droplets from a gas flow, particularly a gas flow from an internal combustion engine. The filter insert includes a media packet with layered portions of filter media. The media packet includes at least one layer of filter media with capillary effect to close the media packet to gas passage.

Filter insert

A filter for an internal combustion engine is used to separate liquid suspended particles from a gas discharged from a crankcase of the internal combustion engine to avoid a rise in engine crankcase pressure. The filter includes at least one filter portion for coarse separation, at least one filter portion for fine separation, and at least one drainage layer arranged within the at least one filter portion for fine separation.

Filter

An internal combustion engine, in particular a stationary gas engine, includes a combustion chamber to which a propellant can be fed from a first propellant source via a combustion chamber pipe, and a pre-combustion chamber to which a flushing gas can be fed via a flushing gas pipe. A flushing gas mixer, in which a propellant to be fed via a propellant pipe from the first propellant source or from a second propellant source, and a synthesis gas to be fed via a synthesis gas pipe, can be mixed is provided. A mixer outlet opens into the flushing gas pipe, and the synthesis gas can be generated by a reformer to which a fuel can be fed from a fuel source via a reformer feed pipe. The reformer outlet of the reformer opens into the synthesis gas pipe, and a cooling device for cooling the synthesis gas is provided.

The invention relates to a method for operating at least one precombustion chamber-fired internal combustion engine, in particular a stationary gas Otto cycle engine, having a pilot chamber and a main combustion chamber associated with the precombustion chamber, wherein a gas mixture is fed to the precombustion chamber as flushing gas, wherein a synthesis gas generated in a fuel reformer and a fuel from a fuel source are fed to the flushing gas and wherein a fuel and at least one further substance stream are fed to the fuel reformer for the reforming process, wherein at least one operating parameter of the at least one internal combustion engine is monitored, wherein in accordance with a change in the at least one operating parameter the chemical composition of the flushing gas is modified by changing the mass stream of the at least one further substance stream.

Method for operating at least one precombustion chamber-fired internal combustion engine

An oil mist separator includes at least one filter device for separating off liquid suspended particles from a carrier gas. The filter device includes a housing having at least one inlet opening for introducing the carrier gas and at least one outlet opening for discharging the filtered carrier gas. Arranged in the housing is at least one filter insert through which the carrier gas can flow along a flow direction. There is also provided at least one guide device by which the flow path can be deflected. The at least one filter device can be arranged releasably in the oil mist separator, and a seal is provided preferably between a first fixing surface of the oil mist separator and a second fixing surface, to be fixed thereto, of the filter device.

A method for operating a stationary power generating plant, comprising a gas engine with at least one pre-chamber and at least one main combustion chamber, wherein the stationary power generating plant is fed a gas stream&#x2014;in particular a substantially continuous gas stream&#x2014;which comprises a hardly inflammable gas, wherein the gas stream is divided in the stationary power generating plant into a main stream and a partial stream, wherein the main stream is fed to the at least one main combustion chamber and wherein the partial stream is treated to increase its inflammability and is fed to the at least one pre-chamber of the gas engine, and also a stationary power generating plant with a gas engine.
