The invention relates to known housing seals of two housing parts lying against each other, a first housing part () having a first sealing surface () and a second housing part () having a second sealing surface (), which housing seals are equipped with a seal (), which is inserted into a groove () in the first sealing surface () of the first housing part (), wherein the groove () is covered by the second sealing surface () of the second housing part (). According to the invention, in order to prevent crevice corrosion, the groove () has an opening () between the sealing surfaces (), which is used to ventilate the groove () having the inserted seal. The invention is intended for water pumps, in particular for auxiliary water pumps of motor vehicles.

A rain sensor, for motor vehicles in particular, having one measuring distance with at least one transmitter and at least one receiver for electromagnetic waves (light waves), a windshield being arranged in the measuring distance, and the measuring distance influencing the wave propagation between the at least one transmitter and the at least one receiver in such a way that when a coating forms on the windshield, in particular as the result of wetting by precipitation, an output signal sensed by the receiver is changed. It is provided that the optical and electronic components of the rain sensor are mounted in a housing, a light conducting element forming a cover of the housing.

Rain sensor

A stator according to the prior art is formed out of a laminated stack that is insulated by means of a plastic coating, and stator pole teeth are connected to each other in permeable fashion. A stator () according to the invention comprises separate permeable stacks of individual laminations () that are held together by means of a plastic coating. The return ring () is joined with play on the stack of individual laminations () and installed on the stack via bayonet coupling.

To achieve an effective dissipation of the heat generated by the power components including a design that is as compact as possible as well as simple assembly in the case of an electronic control unit having a printed circuit board situated in a closed housing and provided with electrical and/or electronic components, and having, arranged at the housing, at least one connector part whose contact elements, which are partially embedded in the housing, are electrically connected to the printed circuit board, it is proposed that the housing includes a housing frame produced as an injection-molded part and having an open topside and bottom side, metallic conductor strips formed by at least one punched grid being partially embedded in the housing frame. Furthermore, it is also proposed that the bottom side of the housing frame is closed by a metallic base part provided as a heat sink, and the topside is closed by a cover part; and that provided between the base part and the printed circuit board are power components, whose leads are in contact with the printed circuit board and/or the conductor strips, and whose underside, which is formed by a cooling plate, and which faces away from the printed circuit board, is connected in a heat conducting manner to the base part.

Electronic control unit

An electronically commutatable motor is described, the stator field windings of which can be connected to a commutation frequency having a DC supply voltage to generate a rotating field for the permanent magnet rotor and can be disconnected from it, the field windings being switchable via semiconductor output stages which can be activated via control signals with the commutation frequency of a control unit and whose operating conditions change as a function of a specified or specifiable setpoint. The disadvantages of motors with pulse-width-modulated control of the field windings can be avoided with simplified motor control in that the DC supply voltage is supplied to a DC transformer whose output voltage for the semiconductor output stages with the field windings changes as a function of the setpoint and that the control unit fully activates the semiconductor output stages continuously with unclocked control signals with the commutation frequency independently of the setpoint.

Electronically commutatable motor

The invention relates to an optical sensor for motor vehicles, for detecting ambient parameters that affect vision, having at least one transmitter and at least one receiver for electromagnetic waves (light waves), in which a windshield is disposed in a measurement segment between the at least one transmitter and the at least one receiver and influences a wave propagation between the at least one transmitter and the at least one receiver in such a way that when a film develops on the windshield, and especially when wetting occurs from precipitation, an output signal generated by the receiver varies and serves to trigger a windshield wiper system. It is provided that at least one of the receivers ( ) of the optical sensor ( ) receives electromagnetic waves (light waves) of an ambient brightness of the motor vehicle and serves to trigger a light system of the motor vehicle.

In a sensor device including a magnetic field sensor which is arranged in stationary fashion and configured as a Hall sensor and is magnetically coupled to at least one stationary magnetic flux conductor which senses a variable magnetic field and delivers it to the Hall sensor, the Hall sensor delivering to an electronic control circuit an electrical signal which depends on the change in the magnetic field, in order to achieve a reduction in the space required for the electronic control circuit and the Hall sensors it is proposed the at least one Hall sensor, combined with at least one element of the electronic control circuit into an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), be arranged in an electronic component.

Known Hall sensors are fastened to a printed circuit board by way of component holders in order to achieve an exact positioning and securing on a printed circuit board in relation to a magnet ring of a rotor of an adjusting motor. A component holder for a Hall sensor is partially injection molded only onto connecting prongs of the Hall sensor or is injection molded onto connecting prongs and at least partially onto a housing of the Hall sensor. The component holder for a Hall sensor according to the invention is provided for adjusting motors, such as window regulator motors of motor vehicles.

In order to reduce assembly cost for attaching the electronic module and to realize better protection of the circuit board in an electronic module for an electric motor operated drive unit, in particular, for an electric motor operated automobile window opener, including an electronic housing part, which can be attached to the housing of the drive unit, with a connector piece arranged thereon and a circuit board inserted in a mounting means the electronic housing part and having electric and/or electronic components, which circuit board is electrically connected to contact elements of the connector piece and to power leads fastened to the electronic housing part, with the power leads being provided with contact sections projecting from the electronic housing part, it is suggested that the electronic housing part be configured as a separate housing which has a housing interior which can be closed with a cover; that the circuit board be arranged completely in the housing interior; and that a second connector piece be arranged on the electronic housing part through which at least the contact sections of the power lead are brought out of the electronic housing part.

Electronic module for an electric motor operated drive unit

A method of operating a resistance heating element and a device for carrying out the method are described. During a first step, the resistance of a resistor of the resistance heating element is determined at a known base temperature. In a second step, the resistance setpoint value is determined as a function of resistance of the resistor at the known base temperature and known temperature coefficients.
