The present invention is directed to dental compositions that can be used as adhesives for bonding a dental material to a dental structure surface and/or as a dental restorative material. The dental composition is preferably applied to a dental structure surface under conditions effective to etch the dental structure surface.

Self-etching emulsion dental compositions and methods

The invention relates to dental compounds that contain at least one polyacid or at least one polyacid and at least one salt of at least one polyacid. The polyacids used have at least one branch point in the polymer structure and are water-soluble and not cross-linked and their repeat units consist to at least 80 mole % of acrylic acid segments.

Use of branched polyacids in dental compounds

Mixtures of chain-extended N-alkylaziridino prepolymers are disclosed herein. There are many uses of these copolymers.

A dental impression composition comprises a polyether derivative functionalized via the hydroxyl groups of a polyether polyol with groups such as aziridine, epoxide and unsaturated substituents including (meth)acrylic, allyl, vinyl, vinyl ether or maleate groups, wherein the level of cyclic oligomeric polyethers is less than 5.0 weight percent.
