An evaporator for a refrigerant circuit, in particular of a motor vehicle, with a tube/fin block with a multiplicity of tubes and fins, with a first collecting tank on one side of the tube/fin block and with a second collecting tank on the other side of the tube/fin block. The first collecting tank has an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber, wherein the inlet chamber is provided with a refrigerant inlet connection and the outlet chamber is provided with a refrigerant outlet connection, wherein a first baffle and a second baffle are arranged in the inlet chamber, which baffles are arranged spaced apart from one another in the inlet chamber.

Evaporator

A receiving box for a heat exchanger may include a box body delimiting at least one duct formed in the box body. The box body may include a plurality of receptacles configured to receive a plurality of tube bodies of the heat exchanger. The plurality of tube bodies may each be fluidically connected to the at least one duct. The box body may define an injection tube that extends along the at least one duct and is separated from the at least one duct via the box body. The injection tube may include at least one outlet opening fluidically connected to the at least one duct.

Device for cooling an interior of a motor vehicle

A cooling apparatus is disclosed which includes a housing and a plurality of chambers which are arranged therein, sealed tightly and filled with a storage medium. The chambers have a substantially flat cross section and are arranged in at least one group. Passages extend between the chambers. The chambers of a group are combined to form a block, and at least one passage is provided between each pair of adjacent chambers. Each of the passages is connected to distribution and collection chambers formed in the housing, in the area of the distribution and collection chambers, with at least one feed port and a return port.

Cold storage unit

A cooling device for a motor vehicle has a secondary circuit for transferring cold generated in an evaporator of a primary cooling circuit of a cooling unit, by means of a coolant, to at least one cold accumulator and/or to at least one heat exchanger for cooling the air fed to a vehicle interior. The secondary circuit has a control and distribution unit that feeds a first fraction of coolant flow, the level of which can be adjusted, to the cold accumulator, and a second fraction of coolant flow, the level of which can also be adjusted, to the heat exchanger. The cooling device allows optimum use of the cold accumulator during standard air-conditioning or in the peak load range, improves passenger comfort in the vehicle, and prevents frosting of the heat exchanger.
