Packaging for a paste product is provided in the form of a flexible, closed storage container which has a sealable outlet opening on the underside. The opening is adapted for connection to a metering device which conveys the product using negative pressure, permitting substantially complete emptying of the container. To this end, the flexible storage container is configured with a thinner wall in its upper section than in its lower section.

Packaging for a paste product

The invention relates to an assembly for delivering a paste from a flexible supply packing drum to a dosing device. The packing drum is arranged in a dimensionally stable container and has a descending passageway for product guidance. The dosing device draws paste from the packing drum by use of a low pressure. In addition, a follower plate is arranged for positioning on the top of the flexible supply packing drum. An opening is provided in the bottom of the container. The container is sealed against the dosing device, and the follower plate is sealed against and moveable within the container. A low pressure is applied between the container and the flexible supply packing drum for assisting the transfer of paste into the dosing device.

The invention relates to a method for controlling the dosing of detergent in multiple stage washing machines having at least one separate detergent tank per washing stage. The entry of water into a detergent tank of the washing machine releases, without intervention in the washing control system, the single dosing of a predetermined amount of detergent into the detergent tank, the release of further dosages being prevented until a renewed activation. Furthermore, the invention relates to a control device for dosing detergents in washing machines in accordance with one of the above methods.

A device for metering a pasty product and mixing the same with a solvent has an exchangeable packing drum containing the pasty product and arranged in a dimensionally stable container, and a vacuum metering device arranged below the container. An outlet of the packing drum which extends through a bottom opening in the container is coupled to a product inlet of the metering device. In order to ensure in a reliable manner that the pasty product exits the packing drum only when the packing drum is coupled to the metering device, to avoid product coming in contact with service personnel, the outlet of the packing drum is designed as an outlet spout. A tubular spout holder is provided in the area of the product inlet, and is fitted with an inner cutting element. The cutting element pierces the seal material covering the free end of the outlet spout, as the latter is installed on the tubular spout holder.

The invention relates to a dosing apparatus for pastelike substances and mixtures thereof with a solvent by means of an injector, comprising an integrated shutoff device. The apparatus contains a detection device which detects the amount of paste according to conductimetry. The shutoff device is a dual piston valve closing an opening between the paste supply tube and an injector suction chamber as well as an opening between the solvent supply tube and an injector pre-chamber. The invention also relates to a method for dosing pastelike substances and the mixtures thereof with a solvent by means of such a device. By opening a shut-off device in a supply tube for a pressurized solvent, a dual piston valve moves against an opposing force. This releases a connection between a paste supply tube and an injection suction chamber, followed by a connection between the solvent supply tube and the injector pre-chamber. The paste is suctioned by an injector operating according to the hydraulic pump principle and mixed with released solvent. The mixture is injected into a measuring section wherein a conductimetry device measures the amount of paste dissolved in the mixture. The shut-off device is closed when the required dose of paste is obtained, whereupon the circuit which was previously in an open position is shifted in reverse order to a closed position.

The invention relates to a paste container with a follower plate tightly sealing the open side of the container. A multiblade mixing propeller is fitted to the follower plate in such a way that it can be rotated, a short distance beneath the follower plate, around an axle (,) which juts through the middle of the plate. The paste container includes a removal device with an external drive mechanism with which paste can be removed from the container through an opening in the follower plate. The agitator blades and the removal device have the same drive mechanism. The paste container is used in particular for receiving thixotropic pastes.

The invention relates to a device enabling delivery of a paste from a flexible storage barrel located in a dimensionally stable container. Product is fed to a dosing device which dispenses product under vacuum. A follow-up plate is located on the storage barrel exerting pressure thereon. An opening is located in a central position and surrounds a pressure-sealed connection between the storage barrel and an access passageway to the dosing device.

A paste-form detergent composition containing (A) 20% to 58% by weight of a liquid surfactant component consisting primarily of a nonionic surfactant, (B) 2% to 40% by weight of solid builders, and (C) 2% to 40% by weight of a solid bleaching component consisting of a peroxygen-containing oxidizing agent and a bleach activator, based on the weight of the composition.
