An apparatus for controlling the power drive of a vehicle, having a mechanical transmission device interposed between an actuator that determines a power drive output and a power drive operating element in which transmission device an adjusting element having a stop and being movable by a governor device to adjust the actuator is movable with respect to a coupler of the transmission device that has a counterpart stop from an unregulated position in which stops rest on one another to regulated positions in which stops are spaced apart from one another, counter to the action of one or more springs. In such an apparatus, an at least one intermittently operative coupling is provided to delay and/or stop the relative motion of the adjusting element relative to the coupler.

Apparatus for controlling the power drive of a vehicle

In a known safety device, a relative position of an adjuster element with respect to a driver can be monitored, and a current path required for this purpose can be checked. To this end, two wipers must lift away from two wiper paths, depending on the position of the driver and adjuster element. Because of this liftoff, early wear of the wiper paths and considerable shifting of the switch point must be expected. In the safety device according to the invention, two switch lugs are provided on the adjuster element and a cam is provided on a base. This has the advantage above all of producing a safety device that is simple to manufacture and is durable. The safety device is especially suitable for power control systems for motor vehicles.

Safety device

An apparatus comprising a control device of a driving engine which can be actuated purely mechanically, for varying the operation of engine as well as via a control motor as needed, independently of the mechanical operation in a direction of reduced output of the driving engine. The apparatus includes a restoring spring which acts upon a first driver element connected to the operating element. Since the coupling spring is not subject to tension exerted by the restoring spring, the coupling spring can be embodied as relatively weak. The apparatus is particularly well-suited to motor vehicles equipped with traction control.

Apparatus having a control motor for intervention into a force

An apparatus for controlling a control device of a driving engine mechanically, via an operating element. As well as by a control motor in the direction of reduced output of the driving engine, independently of a control position defined by the operating element. The apparatus includes a restoring spring and a repose stop located away from the control device in a final control element. The apparatus is particularly well-suited to motor vehicles equipped with traction control.

A system for transferring a control position of a set-point value transducer between the gas pedal and the throttle valve. The system includes an electromechanical device which can adjust a throttle valve out of its position of reponse in opposite directions. This is attained by an intermediate element, which is capable of coming to rest on a repose-position stop. The system is particularly well suited to motor vehicles having traction and/or cruise control.

System for transferring a control position of a set-point value

A control device of a driving engine which can be actuated purely mechanically, via a force transmission device or a control motor as needed, independently of a control position of the force transmission device in a direction of reduced output of the driving engine. The control device includes a restoring spring, a third driver element and a repose stop positioned away from the control device, in a final control element. The apparatus is particularly well-suited for motor vehicles equipped with traction control.
