The disclosure relates to a linear guide having a guide rail which extends in a longitudinal direction, wherein a guide carriage is mounted on the guide rail in a linearly movable manner in the longitudinal direction, wherein at least one sensor is fitted to the guide carriage and can be used to measure an elastic position change of the guide carriage with respect to the guide rail, wherein the at least one sensor comprises at least one emitter turn arrangement which is connected to an alternating current source. According to the disclosure, at least one receiver turn arrangement which is different from the emitter turn arrangement and is inductively coupled to the at least one emitter turn arrangement is provided.

Linear guide with combined load and position measurement

A position measurement system including a material measure and a scanning device movable relative to one another with respect to a measurement direction. The material measure has a plurality of markings which are arranged in a row with respect to the measurement direction, wherein the scanning device includes a transmitter winding arrangement. Multiple receiver coils are provided which are arranged in a row with respect to the measurement direction. The inductive coupling between the transmitter winding arrangement and the receiver coils is a function of the position of the scanning device with respect to the material measure. The transmitter winding arrangement defines multiple separate transmitter areas which are arranged in a row with respect to the measurement direction. A maximum of one single receiver coil is situated in each of the transmitter areas. At least one switching means is provided via which the two adjacent receiver coils are differentially interconnectable.

A scanning head for scanning a material measure on which markings with a period are formed periodically in the measuring direction includes at least two individual sensors configured to produce sensor signals by scanning the markings. The scanning head further includes a digital signal processing apparatus configured to produce at least one highly accurate output signal from the sensor signals. The scanning head is configured to output at least two different types of output signals. The at least two different types of output signals comprises at least one safe output signal and the at least one highly accurate output signal.

A position measuring device has an incremental dimensional standard and also an associated scanning unit that emits at least two analog, phase-shifted periodic output signals and a monitoring device, so that a value of the output signals emitted by the scanning unit codes a state of the monitoring device. The scanning unit includes a sensor for scanning the dimensional standard, which generates at least one analog sample signal, and an evaluating unit, based on the sampled signal, determines a position value, while a synthesis device synthesizes phase-shift, periodic output signals based on the position value.

A guide rail for a linear bearing has a longitudinal axis, a first and second diametrically opposed lateral surface and a top lateral surface, running surfaces provided on the first and/or second lateral surfaces and extending parallel to the longitudinal axis, for a guide carriage of the linear bearing, and an incremental dimensional standard for a position measuring device provided on one of the lateral surfaces, wherein an absolute dimensional standard is provided on another lateral surface, which is scanable by the position measuring device together with the incremental dimensional standard in order to determine an absolute position.
