In a drum housing for a working drum of a construction machine or mining machine for working off milled material movable in a working direction, said working drum being provided with tools and rotating about a drum axis, with a housing shell that at least partially encloses the circumference of the working drum, and with at least one monitoring device arranged radially outside of the housing shell, said monitoring device inspecting the condition of the working drum or of the tools thereof, it is provided for the following features to be achieved: at least one inspection opening for each monitoring device is arranged in the housing shell, and a partial flow of the milled material passes through the at least one inspection opening during the milling operation and guiding devices conduct the partial flow, in radial direction behind the housing shell, in front of or behind the working drum as seen in the working direction.

A self-propelled road-milling machine for doing work on surfacings on the ground, and in particular carriageways. The road-milling machine is characterized by a signalling arrangement which has at least one control unit for the entry of at least two different states of operation by the driver of the road-milling machine and at least one visual indicator or display unit to indicate or display for the driver of the transporting vehicle the at least two states of operation which are preset with the control unit by the driver of the road-milling machine. The first state of operation may be a request for the transporting vehicle to be braked or stopped and the second state of operation may be a request for the transporting vehicle to be started or to continue travelling. In a preferred embodiment of the visual indicator or display unit, the request for braking or stopping is shown as a cross and the request for starting or continued travel as an arrow.

The invention relates to a self-propelled road-milling machine for doing work on surfacings on the ground, and in particular carriageways. The road-milling machine according to the invention is characterized by a signalling arrangement which has at least one control unit for the entry of at least two different states of operation by the driver of the road-milling machine and at least one visual indicator or display unit to indicate or display for the driver of the transporting vehicle the at least two states of operation which are preset with the control unit by the driver of the road-milling machine. An automotive milling machine, for the treatment of road surfaces or ground surfaces includes a chassis comprising front and rear suspension axles with a total of no less than three suspension units with a machine frame supported by the chassis, with lifting columns between the suspension units and the machine frame at no less than two suspension units of a suspension axle, said suspension units being transversely offset from one another in the direction of travel, and with a working drum. The working drum is adjustable to a position for driving in travel mode with the working drum raised and, in the adjusted position of the working drum at a distance from the road surface or ground surface, the lifting columns are suitable for coupling to a spring device.

The invention relates to a mixer bar for a stabilizer/recycler, having an attachment side that comprises an attachment surface for mounting on a drum surface, and having a tool holder receptacle. A mixer bar of this kind can be configured in wear- and strength-optimized fashion, with little production outlay, if provision is made that the mixer bar is embodied as a forged part and has a cross-sectional profile that varies at least locally transversely to the tool feed direction.

A civil engineering machine includes an arrangement for assisting the driver of the machine when reversing which has a calculating unit to determine data which defines at least one trajectory of the civil engineering machine as a function of the position of the front and rear running gear, both as a function of a steering angle and as a function of a mode of steering. The arrangement for assisting the driver of the machine when reversing also has an image detecting unit for detecting an image of the rear part of the civil engineering machine and a display unit for displaying the detected image of the rear part of the civil engineering machine. The invention relates to a bit holder having an insertion projection and having a holding projection, the holding projection comprising a bit receptacle, and the holding projection protruding at least locally from or beyond the insertion projection in the tool feed direction. A bit holder of this kind is designed in service-life-optimized fashion by the fact that the holding projection comprises a supporting segment having a rigid, shaped-on supporting surface that is arranged at least locally in front of the insertion projection in the feed direction. The invention further relates to a base part for receiving an aforementioned bit holder.

A self propelled slipform paver apparatus includes a chassis, a plurality of ground engaging supports, and a plurality of lifting columns extending between the chassis and the ground engaging supports. A chassis mounting unit is connected to the chassis. A mold for flowable material is also included. A mold mounting unit is connected to the mold. One of the chassis mounting unit and the mold mounting unit includes at least one front claw-like fastening member and at least one rear claw-like fastening member. The claw-like fastening members are open in the same direction either in the direction of operation or opposite to the direction of operation. The other of the chassis mounting unit and the mold mounting unit includes at least one front mating member and at least one rear mating member. The mating members are shaped and arranged to be received in the claw-like fastening members.

A road marking has multiple depressions introduced into the road surface, the depressions comprising two lateral longitudinal walls, extending in the longitudinal direction of the road, that transition, proceeding from the road surface, continuously into a bottom region; and the depression being delimited by two transverse walls extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the road. The road markings have improved utilization properties if provision is made that the longitudinal walls comprise a region convexly curved transversely to the longitudinal direction of the road.
