A secondary bar securing device () of a safety bar () of an amusement ride has a primary securing device that keeps the safety bar () in an angular position adapted to the anatomy of the passenger during travel of the amusement ride, and first and second blocking elements () arranged at a distance () to each other. In the event of a malfunction of the primary securing device, the safety bar () can be moved in a tolerance opening angle, which correlates to the distance () between the blocking elements (). If the tolerance opening angle is exceeded, one of the blocking elements () block the safety bar ().

Secondary bar securing device

The invention is a water amusement ride, comprising at least one water vehicle, which can be moved in a body of water and which comprises seats for accommodating passengers. A platform is provided, which extends out of the water surface in an idle state of the water amusement ride and is beneath the water surface in an operating state, and a platform carrier is provided, which lifts the platform out of the water surface in the idle state. According to the invention, the platform carrier and/or the platform comprises at least one floating body. The switch to the idle state (and possibly also back to the operating state) can be completed more quickly and with lower force and energy consumption in comparison with a traditional water amusement ride.

Water amusement ride having a floating body

A rotating water amusement ride is described in which the passengers can in a simpler manner walk to their seats in the water vessels while keeping their feet dry. This is principally achieved by a water amusement ride, with at least one water vessel which is preferably movable in the body of water, and having a float body which is borne by the water and which has seats for accommodating passengers, wherein a platform is provided which, in a rest state of the water amusement ride, protrudes out of the water surface.

Rotating water amusement ride

A water ride containing at least one watercraft is described, having at least a floating body and a chassis which is connected thereto in an articulated manner and which serves as a guide unit, and a guide for the chassis which runs in the water, and a drive for the watercraft, wherein the floating body is connected to the chassis via a connection unit which comprises flexible elements and which allows relative movements of the floating body with respect to the chassis, wherein arranged on the floating body and on the chassis are associated coupling elements which serve for rigidly connecting the floating body and the chassis in at least one relative position, and in that the coupling elements are designed in such a way that the floating body is fixed on the chassis after being lowered.
