The storage control apparatus includes a processing request controller and a device load detector. The device load detector detects an overload of an SSD by detecting a processing delay of the SSD. When the device load detector has detected an overload of an SSD, the processing request controller suppresses issuance of a request to process write-back with respect to a group by delaying issuance of the write-back.
