A camera system according to an embodiment includes a camera device, a control device, and an application server. The camera device, which includes a camera module and a power line communication (PLC) camera adaptation module, captures and provides audio/video information. The camera device modulates the audio/video information, and provides the modulated information. The camera device also demodulates the modulated signal transferred from a power line to obtain a control signal, and adjusts camera parameters according to the control signal. The control device is connected to the PLC camera adaptation module via the power line. The control device demodulates a received modulated signal of the audio/video information, and provides the demodulated signal. According to a received control indication information, the control device generates a control signal, modulates the control signal, and controls the camera module. The application server stores and provides the audio/video information, camera device information and controlling purview information of the camera device. The application server also generates and provides the control indication information. A method for controlling camera is also disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention can control the camera device remotely without using a dedicated signal line.

Camera system and its control method

A data storing system and data processing method of the informational household appliance are provided. The system includes: one or plurality of home database server of informational household appliance which connected with each other, one or plurality of household gateway server, and one or plurality of data managing server of informational household appliance. The data processing method includes: the data processing method of the informational household appliance on-lining, off-lining and status data updating thereof, and the current status of informational household appliance in real-time reflects to the data managing server of informational household appliance through the household gateway server by this data processing method. The data of the informational household appliance can be stored separately from the informational household appliance, and the data of the informational household appliance can be unitedly managed by the system and method.

A household gateway subsystem, the subsystem includes: a host device, for connecting an external network with the interior of the household, and controlling various information appliances in the household based on a digital bus; a user operating device, for communicating with the host device via a digital bus interface, and providing various user operating interfaces and control units. A digital household system is also provided, the system includes: a household gateway subsystem, connected with an external communicating network by IP access; the household gateway subsystem includes: a host device; a user operating device, for communicating with the host device via a digital bus interface; a number of wireless signal transceivers, connected with the host device of the household gateway subsystem.

A method for allocating addresses to intelligent information appliances and their subordinate devices is provided. The network side of a household network sends down-link broadcast message, triggering intelligent information appliances newly connected to the network to return device connection information containing its MAC address to the network side. Alternatively, a newly connected information appliance sends broadcast message carrying device connection information to the network side. After the host at the network side receives the device connection information, the host allocates and stores an unused data bus address for the intelligent information appliance. The network side implements the allocation of data bus addresses to the intelligent information appliances by establishing corresponding relation between intelligent information appliances' MAC addresses and respective data bus addresses, without the need of using other higher layer protocols. The method allows simplifying the protocol stacks, turning the intelligent information appliance in the household network into an external device of the host in the household network, which is invisible to external networks, thus greatly improving safety of the household network, reducing complexity of the appliance, and reducing cost of the appliance.
