A server rack configured to provide electrical connections with data storage modules upon contact includes a shell and a slide rail module slidably installed on the shell. The shell includes a power supply module. The slide rail module itself is electrically conductive and provided with a cable at each end. The cables are connected with the power supply module and the data storage module, and the data storage module is electrically connected with the power supply module.

Server rack

A server rack includes a shell and a plurality of brackets configured to receive a plurality of data storages. The data storages are electrically connected to the bracket. The shell includes a power supply module configured to provide power to the data storages, and an adapter plate connected with the power supply module through a cable. The bracket is electrically connected to a connecting device. When the bracket is slid in the shell, the connecting device closely contacts the adapter plate to be electrically connected with the adapter plate, and the data storages are thus electrically connected with the power supply module.

A server rack able to maintain electrical connections to its components during replacements includes a shell and brackets for data storage devices. The data storage devices are electrically connected to the bracket. The shell includes a power supply module and a connecting device electrically connected to the power supply module. The connecting device includes a resilient ring and a cable, one end of the cable is secured on the resilient ring, and the other end of the cable is electrically connected to the bracket. When the bracket is slid in the shell, the resilient ring elastically deforms to release cable or take back the slack cable, to maintain the electrical connections at all times.

A chassis in a device housing includes a housing of the housing, a hard disk drive, and a fastening apparatus. The housing includes a backplane and a side plate defining an opening. The hard disk drive defining an opening is electrically coupled to the backplane. The fastening apparatus includes a connecting member and a fastening member. The connecting member includes a connecting post. The connecting post defines a mounting hole. Two locking protrusions protrude from the connecting post. A raised portion protrudes from an inside wall of the mounting hole. The fastening member includes an urging portion. The fastening apparatus is coupled between the hard disk drive and the side plate. The fastening member is mounted in the mounting hole, and the raised portion is urged by the urging portions. The connecting post undergoes elastic deformation, and the locking protrusions are locked in the openings.

Chassis with fastening apparatus

An electronic device includes a chassis having a plurality of sides, a bezel located at an end of the chassis, two fixing members fastened to opposite sides of the chassis, and two slide members. Each slide member is respectively slidably attached to the corresponding fixing member. The bezel is slidably sandwiched between the two slide members. The bezel is configured to rotate relative to the slide members. The bezel includes a pair of hooks formed at two opposite ends thereof and configured to be releasably latched by the two fixing members.

Electronic device

A server cabinet includes a cabinet body having a side plate, a door pivotably coupled to a front side of the side plate, a power distribution unit mounted in the cabinet body, and a plurality of power supply units attached to an inner side of the door. The power supply units are electrically coupled with the power distribution unit and configured to be electrically coupled with a plurality of servers through a plurality of cables, the power supply units being detachable and replaceable in spite of minimal physical access through the partly-closed door.

Server cabinet and server system

An electronic device includes a chassis, two opposite mounting brackets mounted to a front of the chassis, two latching apparatuses installed to the mounting brackets, and a panel. Each latching apparatus includes a latching member rotatably mounted in the corresponding mounting bracket, a first resilient member connected between the latching member and the mounting bracket for restoring the latching member, and an operating member rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket. The operating member can push the latching member to rotate. Two latching bars protrude out from two opposite ends of the panel. Each latching member includes a latching pole extending through the corresponding bracket. The panel is inserted between the mounting brackets. Each latching bar slidably abuts against the corresponding latching pole to rotate each latching member and deform the first resilient member, until the latching pole slides over the latching bar.

A mounting apparatus for a hard disk drive (HDD) which does not require screw fixings includes a bracket defining a first locating hole and a carrier. The HDD includes a pin. The carrier includes a shell receiving the HDD, a resilient connecting member, an unlocking member installed on a side of the shell, and an operating assembly. The unlocking member includes a resilient abutting plate. The operation member includes a connecting rack with rotating latching member mounted to a front end of the shell. A front end of the connecting member is mounted to the shell, a rear end of the connecting member is detachably connected the bracket. The abutting plate abuts against the pin. A block of the latching member latches in the first locating hole, and a second end of the latching member is detachably latched to the connecting rack.

Mounting apparatus for hard disk drive and electronic device with the mounting apparatus

A mounting apparatus includes a bracket receiving a hard disk drive (HDD), a transmission mechanism mounted on a side of the bracket, and an operation member. The transmission mechanism includes an installing frame, a first rack, and a second rack. The gear is engaged with the first and second racks. A first end of the operation member is detachably latched to the bracket, while a second end of the operation member is movably connected to the bracket. An abutting piece protrudes out from a rear end of the second rack and abuts against a rear end of the hard disk drive. The operation member is slid rearward, to push the first rack to slide rearward. The first rack drives the gear to rotate, the gear drives the second rack to slide forward, and the abutting piece abuts against the HDD to move the HDD out of the bracket.

A power supply positioning apparatus includes a bracket and a circuit board mounted in the bracket. The bracket defines a receiving slot for receiving a power supply unit. A connector is mounted on the circuit board and aligns with the receiving slot. A first end of the bracket is rotatably connected to a chassis of an electronic device, and a second end of the bracket can be latched to the chassis. The bracket faces outside of the chassis.

Electronic device and power supply positioining apparatus thereof

A server cabinet for retaining at least one computer server includes a plurality of holding poles and a plurality of retaining apparatuses. Each of the plurality of retaining apparatuses is secured to a computer server and clamps a holding pole, such that the computer server is secured on the plurality of holding poles both vertically and horizontally by the plurality of retaining apparatuses.

Computer server retaining apparatus and server cabinet using the same

A fan module includes a receiving rack, a number of mounting members, a number of fans, and a number of fastening members. The receiving rack includes two side plates and a number of receiving spaces between the side plates. A top side of each side plate corresponding to one receiving space defines two cutouts. Each mounting member is latched in one corresponding cutout of the receiving rack. Each fan is received in one corresponding receiving space of the receiving rack. The fastening members are arranged on the fans and are latched in the mounting members.

Fan module

An air duct includes a main body, and an adjusting assembly. The main body includes a top plate and two lateral plates extending from opposite sides of the top plate. The adjusting assembly includes two first limiting plates, a second limiting plate, and a third plate. The second and third limiting plates are slidably attached to each other, and are respectively pivotably attached to the first limiting plates. Each first limiting plate is adjustably attached to the lateral plates.

Air duct for electronic device

A server cabinet for retaining at least one computer server includes a plurality of perforated holding poles and a plurality of retaining apparatuses. Each of the plurality of retaining apparatuses can be secured to a computer server and clamp a holding pole, such that the computer server is secured on the plurality of holding poles both vertically and horizontally by the plurality of retaining apparatuses.

A linkage device includes a shell, an active arm, a linkage lever, a random arm and at least two fixed poles. The shell includes two side plates and an upper plate interconnecting the two side plates. The active arm and random arm are both arranged horizontally under the upper plate and between the two side plates. The active arm and random arm each comprise a slide rail inclined to a horizontal surface. The slide rail of the random arm has an inclined direction opposite to that of the slide rail of the active arm. The linkage lever is arranged outside the shell. The linkage lever comprises a central portion pivoted to one of the side plates and two ends respectively pivoted to the active arm and random arm. Two of the at least two fixed poles respectively slide into the slide rails of the active arm and random arm.
