A conductive terminal, a conductive terminal assembly and a connector are provided. The conductive terminal assembly includes a casing and at least one row of conductive terminals. The at least one row of conductive terminals includes a plurality of conductive terminals arranged side by side. Each conductive terminal includes a contact arm, a contact pin, an extension part and a tenon structure. The contact arm extends along a first direction, the contact pin extends along a second direction, and the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction. The extension part is connected between the contact arm and the contact pin, and the extension part is bent and extended relative to the contact pin. The tenon structure is connected to one of the contact arm and the contact pin. The tenon structure extends in parallel along the first direction or the second direction.

Conductive terminal, conductive terminal assembly and connector

A securing mechanism for retaining a daughter board upon the primary board includes a base, which is moveably assembled upon the main board, and a latch assembled upon the base and moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The base forms a support platform upwardly abutting against the underside of the daughter board and equipped with an arc protrusion for receipt within a notch of the daughter board, and a grounding piece with one end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad of the daughter board and the other end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad on the main board. The base forms a horizontal slot to receive the main body so as to retain the base to the main body in position in the vertical direction. The latch forms a pressing face downwardly pressing an upper side of the daughter board.

Toolless card lock mechanism

A receptacle connector includes an insulative housing having an upper wall and a lower wall with a plurality of vertical walls linked therebetween to form corresponding passageways alternately arranged with the vertical walls. A plurality of contacts are disposed in the corresponding passageways, respectively. A plurality of upper apertures are formed in the upper wall to communicate with the corresponding passageways. A plug connector is adapted to be mated with the receptacle connector and includes an insulative body with opposite top wall and bottom wall. A plurality of through openings are formed in the top wall. A plurality of grooves are formed in an interior face of the top wall to communicate the through openings of the plug connector with the corresponding apertures of the receptacle connector.

Electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector comprises an insulative module loaded with terminals therein and a mounting member. The insulative module defines a pair of panel-supporting surface at each opposite end thereof, and a cavity going through one panel-supporting face. The mounting member comprises a board main receiving in the cavity and an operating portion projecting outwards. The insulative module defines a pair of elastic arms slanting into the cavity and each slates away from the panel-supporting face. The board main defines a pair of locking recesses at opposite edges thereof. The elastic arms are locked with the locking recesses in condition that the mounting member slides upwards beyond the panel-supporting faces.

Electrical connector equipped with a mounting member

An electrical connector has an insulative elongated housing retaining a plurality of contacts therein. The housing includes an upper wall, a lower wall and a rear wall to commonly form a receiving slot. The upper wall forms a plurality of upper passageways and the lower wall forms a plurality of lower passageways to receiving the corresponding upper contacts and lower contacts therein. Each contact includes a mating section extending into the mating space and a mounting leg extending outside of the housing. The housing forms a plurality of cavities in the upper wall, the lower wall and the rear wall to relative evenly adjust the thickness of the different positions in the cross-section of the housing so as to evenly molding the housing without improper deformation/warpage when the housing is solidified after molding.

Electrical connector housing with blind cavities

A card edge connector includes an insulative housing and a number of terminals retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a slot going through a front surface thereof to receive an electrical card. Each terminal includes a contacting portion extending into the slot and a tail extending out of the insulating housing. The insulative housing has a retaining wall above the slot. The card edge connector further includes a nut retained in the retaining wall, and cooperating with an external retaining member to fix the heat dissipation module to the insulative housing. The card edge connector can be adapted to expand the module of the existing electrical card to meet diverse needs of customers.

Card edge connector and assembly thereof

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a plurality of contacts are retained in the housing. A pair of metal latches are assembled on the housing. The latch includes a deflectable arm with a restriction tab for engagement within the corresponding notch of the memory module so as to restrict movement of the memory module in a front-to-back direction, and with a pressing tab beside the restriction tab for downwardly pressing the memory module so as to restrict movement of the memory module in a vertical direction. The pressing tab includes a downward oblique guiding section, and a folded section intimately under the guiding section with a curved linking region between the oblique guiding section and the folded section for downwardly pressing the surface of the memory module without scraping.

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing with a plurality of contacts therein. The housing includes an elongated base extending along a longitudinal direction, and a pair of deflectable latches extending forwardly from two opposite ends of the base. The base includes a first side wall and a second side wall commonly define a receiving slot is therebetween in a vertical direction to receive a memory module therein. Each latch forms an inner face confronting a corresponding side edge of the memory module. The inner face is recessed around a bottom/root section of the latch so as to be spaced from the side edge of the memory module for not potentially damaging the side edge of the memory module during rotational installation of the memory module into the connector.

An electrical card edge connector includes an elongated insulative housing forming a central slot with two rows of terminals disposed by two sides of the central slot and retained in the housing. The housing includes two opposite lengthwise side walls and two end walls connected to two opposite ends of the corresponding lengthwise walls, and a bottom wall linked to both the lengthwise walls and the end walls below the central slot. The terminals are disposed in the corresponding side walls. A pair of metal latches are fixed to the corresponding end walls, respectively. Each metal latch include a front restriction piece received in the corresponding through hole, a rear restriction piece received in the notch, and a locking piece located adjacent to the rear restriction piece and downwardly pressing an upper surface of the memory module.

A card edge connector () for receiving a module () includes an elongated insulative housing () having a central slot () for receiving a bottom edge of the module and an arm portion () coupled to an end of the insulative housing. The arm portion includes a pair of side walls () with a retaining slot () formed therebetween for receiving a side edge of the module and a latch () located between the side walls and integrally extending upwardly from the insulative housing. The latch has a resilient arm () defining a retaining embossment () for latching the module and a gripping portion () for rotating the resilient arm. A number of terminals () are mounted on the insulative housing and extend into the central slot for electrical connection to the module.

A card edge connector defines an insulative housing, the housing includes a lengthwise base portion with opposite end walls along a lengthwise direction thereof, and a card-receiving slot runs forwards for an electrical card; a plurality of terminals are loaded in the housing and the terminals defines contacting portions exposing to the card-receiving slot and welding portions extending out of the housing; a pair of latch members are fixed to the end walls, each latch member comprises a locking portion, the locking portion bends inwards and downwards slantwise, the locking portion also defines an upper guiding surface and a lower resisting surface opposite to the upper guiding surface, wherein the guiding surfaces are disposed slantwise to the electrical card while the resisting surface is parallel to the electrical card.
