Various embodiments are provided herein for implementing multiple thread scenes in a computing environment virtualized metaverse. A multi-layered thread to be instanced in the virtualized metaverse is developed. A main thread scene, and a virtualized avatar that is projected in the main thread scene, is developed. The creation and merger of the main thread scene with other thread scenes featuring the virtualized avatar throughout the multi-layered thread according to a predetermined methodology or overall theme, is enabled.

Implementing multiple thread scenes in virtualized metaverse

A method and system for registering images as non-fungible token images include a non-fungible token verifier verifying that an image has not been registered as a registered non-fungible token. Once the image is verified, an object recognizer recognizes objects of the image that are classified into a object queue. A characteristic extractor then extracts one or more characteristics of the queued objects. A non-fungible token denormalizer then denormalizes the image into one or more denormalized images each having denormalization attributes. A uniqueness purifier then inspects objects of each of the denormalized images for characteristics extracted from objects in the queue, where matching characteristics between the objects of the denormalized images and objects of the image define unique parameters. Non-fungible token register then registers the image as a unique non-fungible token image. A non-fungible token verification method is carried out along with, or independent of, the non-fungible token registration method.

Non-fungible token registration and verification methods

A computer implemented method performs a task for a vehicle. A number of processor units detects a presence of the vehicle on a road. The number of processor units divides the task to be performed for the vehicle into subtasks. The number of processor units assigns the subtasks to Internet of Things nodes on possible paths that the vehicle can travel on the road. The number of processor units processes the subtasks using a set of the Internet of Things nodes on a selected path in the possible paths in real time as the vehicle moves on the selected path to form subtask results. The number of processor units combines the subtask results from the processed subtasks to form a task result for the task.

IoT node coordination

A computer-implemented method to automatically adjust a view of a video stream to focus on a relevant item. The method includes monitoring activity in video feed of a video conference. The method further includes identifying, in the video feed, an item that a user is interacting with during the video conference. The method also includes determining a relevance score for to the item, where the relevance score represents a likelihood the item is a focus of the video conference. The method includes determining the relevance score is above a relevance threshold for the item. The method also includes adjusting, in response to the relevance score being above the relevance threshold, a focus the video feed, where the adjusting is configured to focus on the item.

Content based focus adjustment

In an approach to improve the privacy of chat groups within a virtual world, in response to identifying a private chat group has been created between two or more users, embodiments collect, by an internet of things (IoT) sensor set, a voice for each user in the private chat group. Further, embodiments analyze, by an analysis module, the collected voice, an intonation associated with the collected voice and an original pronunciation associated with the collected voice, and generate a de-content pronunciation based on the analysis of the collected voice, the intonation, and the original pronunciation. Additionally, embodiments output, by the IoT sensor set, the intonation and the original pronunciation to the two or more users in the private chat group and output, by the IoT sensor set and a client computer, the intonation and the de-content pronunciation to one or more users outside the private chat group.

Computer-based privacy protection for chat groups in a virtual environment

Methods, computer program products, and/or systems are provided that perform the following operations: identifying, in an environment that includes a plurality of edge clusters of edge nodes, a first edge cluster having a resource gap; broadcasting a resource requirement of the first edge cluster to other edge clusters in the plurality; obtaining resource commitments from one or more of the other edge clusters; selecting edge cluster resources from the one or more of the other edge clusters based, at least in part, on the resource commitments; and creating a new cluster including the first edge cluster and the selected edge cluster resources.

A method for transmitting web-conference content over a network connection is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method conducts a web conference over a network connection. The method monitors characteristics of the network connection in order to determine bandwidth of the network connection during the web conference. The method implements, on the network connection, a 'raw' mode wherein audio data of the web conference is transmitted over the network connection in an original format. Upon detecting a low bandwidth condition on the network connection, the method toggles from the “raw” mode to a “saving” mode where audio data of the web conference is converted to text at a first end of the network connection, transmitted over the network connection as text, and converted from text back to audio data at a second end of the network connection. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Network bandwidth determination for adaptive web-conference rendering and transmission

Solutions preparing container images and data for container workloads prior to start times of workloads predicted through workload trend analysis. Local storage space on the node is managed based on workload trends, optimizing local storage of image files without requiring frequent reloading and/or deletion of image files, avoiding network intensive I/O operations when pulling images to local storage by workload scheduling systems. Systems perform collection of historical data including image and workload properties; analyze historical data for workload trends, including predicted start times, image files needed, number of nodes and types of nodes. Based on predicted future workload start times, nodes are selected from an ordered list of node requirements and workload properties. Selected nodes' local storage is managed using predicted future start times of workloads, to avoid removing image files having sooner start times, while removing (as needed) images files predictively utilized for workloads further into the future.

Storage management and usage optimization using workload trends

The present invention relates to a method, system and computer program product for task failover in an unstable environment, wherein the unstable environment includes a plurality of reclaimable nodes. According to the method, it is monitored if any node of the plurality of reclaimable nodes is to be reclaimed. Whether a task on any node of the plurality of reclaimable nodes is recoverable is determined. Responsive to the task being recoverable, data of the recoverable task is stored. Responsive to a node being reclaimed and the task on the reclaimed node being recoverable, at least one associated task of at least one associated node of the reclaimed node is notified to wait.

Task failover

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, system and computer program product for providing system services. In some embodiments, a method is disclosed. According to the method, from a user program in a user address space, a request for a system service is received via a program call instruction of a set of program call instructions in an application interface code library. Based on the program call instruction, a target authorized address space of a plurality of authorized address spaces and a target system service routine for providing the system service in the target authorized address space is determined. A result of running the target system service routine in the target authorized address space is returned to the user program as a response to the request.

Providing system services

A snapshot request for a selected database is obtained by a computing device of a computing environment. Based on obtaining the snapshot request, a snapshot of the selected database is taken. Based on taking the snapshot, a snapshot identifier is recorded in metadata of the selected database. The snapshot identifier identifies the snapshot request.

Facilitating concurrent execution of database snapshot requests

Embodiments relate to methods, systems, and computer program products for path management in a processing system. In a method, in response to receiving a request for adding a target controlling unit into a processing system, a plurality of network nodes in the processing system are divided into a group of subnets based on a topology of the plurality of network nodes, the plurality of network nodes being connected to at least one controlling unit in the processing system. A workload estimation is determined, the workload estimation representing a workload to be caused by the target controlling unit to the processing system. A target subnet is selected from the group of subnets for connecting the target controlling unit into the processing system based on the workload estimation. With these embodiments, the target subnet may be selected in an automatic way such that the performance of the processing system may be increased.

Path management

A computer implemented method, apparatus, system, and computer program product manages updates to images. A computer system determines shared layers present between the images selected for update management. The images comprise executable code that are run to create containers. The computer system detects a change in a shared layer in the shared layers for an image in the images. The computer system updates the shared layer in the shared layers in a set of the images having the shared layer in response to detecting the change to the shared layer for the image. According to other illustrative embodiments, a computer system and a computer program product for managing updates to images are provided.

Image optimization for pipeline workloads

A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a processing unit, from a first tenant, a query to retrieve data from a nonrelational database system. The method further includes determining, by the processing unit, that an index associated with the query is cached in a shared index cache, wherein the shared index cache stores indexes for a plurality of tenants. The method further includes retrieving, by the processing unit, a result of the query based on the index in the shared index cache. The method further includes outputting, by the processing unit, the result of the query.

Shared cache for multiple index services in nonrelational databases

A computer-implemented method, according to one implementation, includes: monitoring requests received for an AI interface prompt in real-time, and determining whether one or more of the requests violate compliance metrics. Risk scores are calculated for requests determined as violating the compliance metrics. The requests determined as violating the compliance metrics are updated by implementing protective measures correlated with the calculated risk scores. Moreover, the updated requests are sent to the AI interface prompt.
