A mobile communication apparatus comprises an anti-theft control circuit and a transmission control circuit. The anti-theft control circuit has an information management module and a security module. The information management module is used for storing a user personal database comprising at least one of a phonebook database, a schedule database, and an e-mail database. The transmission control circuit is used for transmitting data and/or signals. When the transmission control circuit receives a remote message, the security module examines whether the remote message is a predetermined legitimate remote control message; wherein if YES, the transmission control circuit sends out at least one record of the phonebook database, the schedule database, and the e-mail database to an electronic apparatus indicated by the remote message.

Mobile communication apparatus having anti-theft and auto-notification functions

A mobile communication apparatus comprises a first SIM card, an anti-theft control circuit, a transmission control circuit, and a security module. The first SIM card is engaged with the mobile communication apparatus and has corresponding first identification information. The anti-theft control circuit has a SIM-card-detection module and an information management module. The SIM-card-detection module is used for detecting whether the first SIM card is replaced by a second SIM card and generating a corresponding detection result. The information management module is used for storing the corresponding first identification information, predetermined contact information, and a user personal database. The transmission control circuit is used for transmitting data and/or signals. The security module provides a data security class. When the SIM-card-detection module generates the detection result, the transmission control circuit will send a notice signal according to the predetermined contact information, and when the security module receives the detection result, a data security procedure in the security module is enabled to protect the data in the user personal database according to the set data security class.

A receiver terminal, like a mobile apparatus or a mobile phone, downloads a multimedia message from a message center via a network. An arrival notification is first transmitted from the message center to the receiver terminal. In the notification, a length of the multimedia message is identified. The receiver terminal, however, checks a portion of the multimedia message downloaded to ensure the actual size indicated by the portion of the multimedia message is consistent with the length identified by the notification. If there is problem, users are inquired for confirmation to determine whether to continue downloading the rest portion of the multimedia message.

Method and mobile apparatus of receiving a multimedia message

Method and system for supporting serverless VoIP service are provided. Network information of a first device and a second device is exchanged through a telecommunication network. A VoIP connection between the first and second devices can be established through an internet based network according to the exchanged network information. The network information may comprise an IP address and a port number, and can be delivered by short message service.

Method and system for serverless VoIP service in personal communication network

The present invention provides an overflow control method for frame synchronization of base stations in wireless communication network system. The wireless communication network system includes a radio network controller, a first base station, a second base station, and a mobile unit. The radio network controller transmits a plurality of data frames to the first base station and the second base station. The present invention includes the following steps. First, determine whether number of the plurality of data frames received by the second base station is larger than a judging storage capacity. Second, calculate an X and delete X of data frames from the second base station if the number is larger. The X is equal to the result of subtracting the judging storage capacity from the number. Meanwhile, detect a link quality between the mobile unit and the first base station. If the link quality is lower than a preset value, calculate an N and delete N of data frames from the second base station when N is larger than zero. The N is equal to number of data frames not yet deleted from the second base station and already received by the mobile unit.
