A combination cremation urn and ornament comprises a base adapted to receive cremation ashes therein, an upstanding post mounted to an upper surface of said base and extending upwardly therefrom, and a decorative ornament that is three-dimensional an entire 360 degrees about a vertical axis of said decorative ornament, said decorative ornament having a hole extending upwardly from a bottom thereof into said decorative ornament, said post received in said hole as said decorative ornament is positioned on said base to secure said decorative ornament to said base.

A combination casket and ornament comprises a casket shell having a pair of keyhole-shaped grooves in a corner thereof, an L-shaped adapter having a leg and a foot, the leg having a pair of studs on a rear side thereof each of which is received in a respective one of the keyhole-shaped grooves, and a decorative ornament that is three-dimensional an entire 360 degrees about a vertical axis of the ornament, the ornament positioned on the foot of the L-shaped adapter.

A decorative casket interior trim system comprises a generally rectangular decorative fabric bottom panel, a pair of generally rectangular decorative fabric side panels, and a pair of generally rectangular decorative fabric end panels. Each of the panels is fabricated as a pocket. A semi-rigid sheet is inserted into each pocket.

A casket comprises a casket shell, a casket lid closeable on the shell, at least one keyhole groove in the shell, a medallion casket ornament having a rear side, the ornament including at least one magnet mounted on the rear side, and an adapter plate having at least one rearward facing fastener with a head thereon and having a forward facing annular magnetic plate. The adapter plate is removably secured to the shell by inserting the head of the fastener in the keyhole groove and seating the head of the fastener in the keyhole groove. The ornament is removably secured to the shell by positioning the at least one magnet of the ornament on the annular magnetic plate. The ornament is plumbed by rotating the ornament relative to the adapter plate until the ornament is plumb.

A casket comprises a casket shell adapted to receive a deceased, a casket lid closeable on the shell, a handling bar non-pivotally attached to the shell with a first attachment mechanism, a decorative cover overlying the first attachment mechanism and operably attached to the shell with a second attachment mechanism, the second attachment mechanism having a first portion mounted to the shell and a second portion mounted to the decorative cover, the first and second portions of the second attachment mechanism resiliently cooperating to operably removably attach the decorative cover to the casket shell.

Hardware for a casket comprises a clevis having a pair of side walls, a back wall adapted to be attached to the casket shell wall, a pair of tabs each of which extends laterally outwardly from a respective one of the side walls and each of which is spaced forwardly from the rear wall, an arm pivoted at an upper end to the clevis, and a decorative ear having a downwardly facing recess in a lower edge thereof and a pair of tapered resilient arms each of which is located on a respective side of the recess, each resilient arm having a laterally inwardly projecting tab on a lower free end thereof, each resilient arm becoming progressively thicker from the free end toward a base thereof as measured in a direction generally normal to the casket shell wall.

A casket comprises a casket shell adapted to receive a deceased, a casket lid closeable on the shell, a casket ornament, and an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism has a first portion mounted to a corner of the shell and a second portion mounted to the casket ornament. The first and second portions resiliently cooperate to operably removably attach the casket ornament to the casket shell corner.

A casket comprises a casket shell having an upper edge, a casket lid closeable upon the shell, and a memorial shelf connected to the upper edge of the shell, the shelf adapted to support items of memorialization thereon.

A casket comprises a casket shell having a pair of side walls, a pair of end walls, and a bottom wall, a casket lid pivoted to the casket shell for movement to an open position and to a closed position, and a combination hinge, brace, and lock mechanism connecting the lid to the shell. The mechanism comprises a first hinge plate secured to the shell, a second hinge plate secured to the lid, the first and second hinge plates pivoted to one another, and a latch bar moveably mounted relative to the first and second hinge plates for movement to first, second, and third positions. The latch bar and hinge plates are configured such that when the latch bar is in the first position the latch bar fixes the hinge plates relative to one another such that the lid is fixed in the closed position. When the latch bar is in the second position the hinge plates are free to pivot relative to one another such that the lid is free to pivot relative to the shell. When the latch bar is in the third position the latch bar fixes the hinge plates relative to one another such that the lid is fixed in the open position.
