The present disclosure provides a set of spiked matrix standards comprising: one or more carriers, each carrier comprising: (a) a reference standard analyte in an amount that is different in each carrier; and (b) a blank matrix that is in admixture or in contact with the reference standard analyte. And, the processes of the present invention are scalable to generate commercial quantities of the final compound.
