A reusable countertop mold in accordance with the present invention includes a bracket member detachably secured to a rail portion of a cabinet member for a substantially horizontal substrate that receives deformable material upon a surface of the substrate. The bracket member includes vertical, horizontal and channel members integrally joined together for enabling a channel member to removably receive the rail member. The mold further includes a locking bolt for detachably securing the bracket member to the rail portion of the support member. A form member is detachably secured to the bracket member, the form member continuously extending outside the perimeter of the substrate and receives deformable material that ultimately solidifies; whereby, the substrate surface and the form member cooperate to configure a countertop that continuously extends upon and outside the perimeter of the substrate, thereby forming a countertop having an integrally joined overhang portion; whereupon, the reusable countertop mold is removed from the solidified countertop overhang portion and the rail portion.

A stencil device for forming configurations in deformable material includes a first member having ridge portions integrally joined to channel portions that promote the insertion of the ridge portions of the first member into deformable material; and a second member having ridge portions integrally joined to protrusion portions that promote the insertion of the ridge portions of the second member into deformable material; whereby, the first and second members ultimately form a design pattern across a preselected surface of deformable material by alternating the insertion and removal of said first and second members across the preselected surface of the deformable material.

A reusable pool mold for forming a swimming pool coping or overhang above a peripheral portion of pool water in accordance with the present invention includes multiple bracket members detachably secured to a liner receiver for a swimming pool. Each bracket having a lower portion of an outer vertical member integrally joined to an outer portion of a horizontal member, and having an inner portion of said horizontal member integrally joined to an upper portion of an inner vertical member. Each bracket member includes a securing member for detachably securing a bracket member to the liner receiver. The pool mold includes a form member that continuously extends above a water portion of a swimming pool; the form member receiving deformable material that ultimately solidifies, whereupon, the form member and brackets are removed from the solidified material to reveal a configured coping or overhang continuously extending above a peripheral portion of water inside the swimming pool.

An apparatus and method for securing a deformable material to a wall structure such that the deformable material is allowed to solidify to form a predetermined configuration upon the wall structure, includes securing a fabric member to a wall structure, the fabric member having a configuration that supports a deformable material that ultimately solidifies; a plurality of offset strips (when required) that separate the fabric member from the wall structure to provide an air gap; and fasteners that maintain the relative position of the fabric upon the wall structure throughout the application of the deformable material upon the fabric member, the configuring of a design into the deformable material, and after the deformable material has solidified.

Apparatus and method for wall decorating

A reusable countertop mold in accordance with the present invention includes at least one mold sheet, but generally a plurality of mold sheets are required to extend about a predetermined portion of a periphery of a floor mounted cabinet. The mold sheet is dimensioned and configured to ultimately form a countertop having a predetermined configuration with predetermined dimensions. The mold sheet includes a relatively thin base portion and a wall portion perpendicular to the base portion. The reusable countertop mold further includes a plurality of fastener recesses in an inner side portion of the base portion, the recesses ultimately allowing fasteners to pass through a countertop substrate and into the floor mounted cabinet, after the base portion has been inserted between the countertop substrate and the cabinet. After a countertop forming material has hardened upon the countertop substrate and the mold sheet, the base portion of the mold sheet is slidably removed from between the countertop substrate and the cabinet, thereby allowing the reusable countertop mold to be reused for another countertop forming project.

A device for configuring deformable material to provide a predetermined relatively non-deformable visual display includes a plurality of configuration blocks for receiving deformable material that ultimately transforms to a relatively non-deformable material, and a key member for aligning and securing together adjacently disposed configuration blocks. Each of the configuration blocks include a plurality of gaps for arcuately disposing the configuration blocks; and an insert member that engages a ridge portion of each configuration block to ultimately configure an edge portion of the deformable material. A base portion of each configuration block ultimately receives deformable material thereupon that is configured to a predetermined design. Arm members of each configuration block and the insert member are manually removed, after the deformable material transforms to a relatively non-deformable material, to expose a predetermined design in the edge portion and the base portion of each configuration block. The combined displays in the edge portions and the base portions of the configuration blocks provide a predetermined relatively non-deformable visual display.

A compact, electrodeless, microwave-powered lamp (e.g., ultraviolet light emitting lamp) is provided, as well as methods of using this lamp. The lamp includes a microwave generator, waveguide and RF cavity. The RF slot between the waveguide and RF cavity, for introducing microwaves from the waveguide into the RF cavity, extends through an end member forming the RF cavity rather than through the elliptical-shaped reflector; and the RF slot is aligned with the bulb. Cooling air for cooling the bulb passes through the RF slot, and preferably this cooling air passes by both the bulb and microwave generator for cooling both. The bulb is rotated during use. The compact size of the lamp facilitates its use in small devices, such as inkjet printers for office use to cure ultraviolet light curable inkjet inks, among other uses.

An electrodeless lamp comprises an envelope containing a fill and a substance for facilitating the starting of the lamp. An outer tube is secured to an outside portion of the envelope in proximity to the given region and an inner tube is disposed within the outer tube such that a fluid passageway is defined between an inner surface of the outer tube and an outer surface of the inner tube. A hollow retractable electrode is provided within the inner tube, the electrode having a first position in which its tip portion is in proximity to the given region of the envelope when the lamp is being started and a second position in which the tip portion is away from the envelope after the lamp is started. A source of cooling fluid is operably connected to the hollow electrode such that the cooling fluid is forced through the hollow electrode and exhausted through the fluid passageway. A power source is operably connected to the electrode in the first position for applying an electric field to the substance to cause a discharge of the fill. An excitation power source is coupled to the fill to sustain the discharge.

Disposal apparatus for the safe disposal of a medicinal needle after use utilizing a container with a vacuum therein and a piston attached to one side of the needle which protrudes ready for use. After use of the needle, one side of the piston is exposed to ambient pressure and the needle is retracted into the container for safe disposal. A sight chamber attached to said piston within said container and communicating with said needle indicates when said needle has pierced a blood vessel. In another embodiment, a spring is employed to retract the needle.

Safety catheter

Disposal apparatus for the safe disposal of a medicinal needle after use utilizing a container with a vacuum therein and a piston attached to one of the needles which protrudes ready for use. After use of the needle, one side of the piston is exposed to ambient pressure and the needle is retracted into the container for safe disposal.
