In a first power mode of a range of power modes the preamplifier is configured to perform low-fidelity ECG acquisition and the processor is configured to perform simple arrythmia detection analysis, and in a second mode of the range of power modes the preamplifier is configured to perform high-fidelity ECG acquisition and the processor is configured to perform complex arrythmia detection analysis.

A wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD) system is adapted for use by an ambulatory patient who already has an implanted pacemaker. If implanted, such a pacemaker may occasionally be emitting, without the knowledge of the WCD system, pacing signals that may be adding pacing artifacts to the ECG signal. The WCD system may use multiple electrodes to sense ECG signals along multiple vectors that have channels. In embodiments, the WCD system identifies a preferred one of its available channels according to how easily the pacing artifacts are detected within its ECG signal. When the patient's parameters indicate that an alert criterion is met, the WCD system may attempt to read the ECG signal from the preferred channel first. This way the WCD system may be able to identify faster the pacing artifacts, and therefore analyze the ECG signal faster, with an opportunity to react faster to the alert criterion being met.

Receiving a dataset and parsing from the dataset an XP coordinate value on an x-axis, a YP coordinate value on a y-axis, and a ZP coordinate value on a z-axis all within a domain having 3-dimensional features. The x-axis and y-axis are perpendicular and define a horizontal earthbound main surface. The ZP coordinate value is on the z-axis perpendicular to the horizontal earthbound main surface. A CPR machine () is configured to perform, on a patient's () chest, compressions that alternate with releases. The CPR machine includes a compression mechanism (), and a driver system () configured to drive the compression mechanism. A force sensing system () may sense a compression force, and the driving can be adjusted accordingly if there is a surprise. For instance, driving may have been automatic according to a motion-time profile, which is adjusted if the compression force is not as expected (). An optional chest-lifting device () may lift the chest between the compressions, to assist actively the decompression of the chest. A lifting force may be sensed, and the motion-time profile can be adjusted if the compression force or the lifting force is not as expected.

A CPR chest compression machine includes a retention structure that is configured to retain a body of the patient, and a compression mechanism. The compression mechanism is coupled to the retention structure and configured to perform successive compressions to the patient's chest. Various types of chest compressions may be performed on a patient during a single resuscitation event. Some embodiments also include a driver configured to drive the compression mechanism. The compression mechanism may thus perform chest compressions that differ from each other in a number of aspects, for example the depth of the compressions or the height of the active decompressions between the compressions. Some embodiments also include an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism may shift the compression mechanism with respect to the patient so that the chest compressions are performed at different locations of the patient's chest.

In embodiments, a CPR chest compression system includes a retention structure that can retain the patient's body, and a compression mechanism that can perform automatically CPR compressions and releases to the patient's chest. The CPR system also includes a user interface that can output a human-perceptible check patient prompt, to alert an attendant to check the patient during the pause. An advantage can be when the attendant checks in situations where the condition of the patient might have changed, and an adjustment is needed. Or in situations where the patient may have improved enough to where the compressions are no longer needed.

An Online Software Platform (OSP) may receive a first dataset from a remote client device, and compute an estimated resource, from the first dataset and also per stored digital rules. The OSP may then communicate an aspect of the resource to the remote client device and receive a confirmation of the first dataset. The OSP may then process the first dataset, for matching it with another dataset, either internally or by outsourcing. Either way, the OSP may establish that the first dataset has been matched with a compatible second dataset. The OSP may then input a resource for the first dataset, which is determined according to stored digital rules. The OSP may further create one or more notifications and documents about the matching and the resource, and make them available to the remote client device or even to the device of another remote entity.

In embodiments, given a surface that has domains on it and a first location, a second location is generated in the surface. The second location belongs in the same domains as the first location, and does not belong in the same domains as the second location. A use case can be where it is desired to protect the privacy of location data of an entity, such as its address.
