An amusement park attraction system includes one or more travel paths configured to guide one or more ride vehicle assemblies thereon. The amusement park attraction system also includes an interference detection assembly comprising one or more drones, a sensor assembly disposed on the drone, one or more memories, and one or more processors. The one or more memories include instructions stored thereon. The one or more processors are configured to execute the instructions to control a path of the one or more drones relative to the one or more travel paths, receive sensor data from the sensor assembly and corresponding to an environment surrounding the one or more drones, detect an overlap between a reach envelope corresponding the one or more ride vehicle assemblies and at least one additional component of the amusement park attraction system based on the sensor data, and generate one or more notifications indicative of the overlap.

System and method for amusement attraction interference detection

In an embodiment, an interactive wearable device system includes a display configured to face outwardly from a wearer of the interactive wearable device system. The interactive wearable device system also includes a location identification system configured to determine user location data related to the wearer and a separate individual. An automation controller is communicatively coupled to the display and the location identification system. The automation controller is configured to receive the user location data provided by the location identification system. The automation controller is also configured to determine the user location data satisfies at least one criteria and instruct the display to display an image based on the location data satisfying the at least one criteria.

A ride system for an amusement park includes a platform of the ride system that rotates about a guide axis along a direction of travel of the platform. A motion system is included and drives movement of the platform. One or more seats are coupled to the platform, wherein the one or more seats move with the platform and relative to the platform. At least one sensor detects a position of at least one seat of the one or more seats and provides data indicative of the position. A controller receives the data indicative of the position and controls the motion system to rotate the platform about the guide axis based on the data indicative of the position.

A multi-stage water effect system includes a plurality of water ride vehicles. A water ride vehicle of the plurality of water ride vehicles has one or more water effect devices. The multi-stage water effect system also includes a control system communicatively coupled to the one or more water effect devices of the plurality of water ride vehicles. The control system activates the one or more water effect devices of the water ride vehicle to provide a first fluid flow at a first time. The control system also activates the one or more water effect devices of the water ride vehicle to provide a second fluid flow at a second time.

The ride vehicle is coupled to and configured to move relative to the tower track and the ride vehicle includes one or more user input devices. Systems and methods are disclosed that provide directional speakers and haptic devices for each guest of a ride vehicle. A controller may receive a vehicle location, seat location data, input audio data, and input haptic data. The seat location data may include a guest's seat location in the ride vehicle and/or the guest's preferences (e.g., a preferred language, volume preferences, or content rating preference). The controller may generate different audio output signals corresponding to different guests based on the input audio data, the vehicle location, and/or the seat location data, and generate different haptic output signals corresponding to different guests based on the input haptic data, the vehicle location, and/or the seat location data. The controller may then instruct directional speaker directed at the seat locations of the different guests to output the different audio output signals and instruct haptic devices directed at the seat locations to output the different haptic output signals.

A queue control system controls a queue structure of a queue in an amusement park. The queue control system includes a controller and a queue structure control associated with the queue structure. The controller receives, from an input device that monitors a queue characteristic of the queue, data feedback indicative of the queue characteristic. The queue characteristic is indicative of a queue length, queue wait time, queue rate, or queue throughput. The controller also outputs a control command based on the data feedback. The queue structure control receives the control command and changes at least one aspect of the queue structure based on the control command.

An apparatus for an amusement park includes a bogie system that moves along a ride path, a platform coupled to the bogie system, and a plurality of seats coupled to a surface of the platform. The platform may rotate about a guide axis with respect to the bogie system, and the plurality of seats may rotate about the guide axis with the platform.

Present systems and methods are directed to a passenger restraining system, which includes a restraint and a locking mechanism, and a lighting system, which includes a variety of light sources. At least a portion of the variety of light sources is integrated with the restraint. Furthermore, the lighting system receives an indication of a configuration of the locking mechanism, executes a first light scheme via the plurality of light sources when the indication is of an unlocked configuration, and executes a second light scheme via the plurality of light sources when the indication is of a locked configuration.

The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, may cause the haptic feedback system to convert data from the ride control system into tactile information representative of scenery surrounding the ride vehicle based on stored scenery data that is correlated to the location.
