A mount is removably attached to a post has a vertical orientation. An arm is attached to and extends between the mount and the platform. The platform is pivotally coupled to the arm and the mount is pivotally coupled to the arm.

Dumbbell supporting system

A multifunctional exercise device enabling performance of a plurality of exercises includes a base, an upright support, a first rest, and a second rest. The base has upper and lower surfaces, front and rear ends, and opposed lateral edges, which extend between the front and rear ends. The upright support has lower and upper ends, with the lower end being attached to the upper surface proximate to the rear end and the upright support extending substantially vertically from the base. The first and second rests are removably couplable to the upper end of the upright support for performing pluralities of first and second exercises, respectively. The first and second rests are elongated and each has a longitudinal axis extending bilaterally and perpendicularly from the upright support in parallel with a vertical plane that bisects each of the opposed lateral edges. The second rest is rotatable about its longitudinal axis.

Multifunctional exercise device and method of use

An exercise device targeting anterior tibialis muscles which specifically targets anterior tibialis muscles includes weight engagement, sliding, and locking elements. The weight engagement element comprises a dorsum bar, which is attached to and which extends bidirectionally from a first end of a weight bar. The sliding element comprises a heel bar, which is attached to and which extends bidirectionally from a first terminus of an extension bar. A second terminus of the extension bar is slidable along and releasably securable to the weight bar so that the dorsum bar and the heel bar can be fit to feet of a user. The weight bar is insertable through the central hole of one or more weights so that the one or more weights abut the extension bar. The locking element is slidable along and releasably securable to the weight bar to retain the one or more weights in position.

A dumbbell supporting system includes a platform having an upper surface and a lower surface. The upper surface is receives a dumbbell. A mount is removably attached to a post has a vertical orientation. An arm is attached to and extends between the mount and the platform. The platform is pivotally coupled to the arm and the mount is pivotally coupled to the arm.

A dumbbell system a plurality of weights vertically stackable on top of each other and each of the weights has a pair of outer edges disposed oppositely from each other to define a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. The weights each have a centrally displaced opening vertically extending therethrough and defining a receiving space. The receiving space of each weight is vertically aligned with the receiving space of each of the other weights. A handle is removably extendable into the receiving space. A coupler releasably engages a selected one of the weights to the handle and defines a coupled weight. The coupled weight and each of the weights positioned above the coupled weight is releasably secured to the handle. Each of the weights positioned below the coupled weight are disengaged from the handle.

An exercising assisting and support assembly includes a body having a bottom surface, a top surface, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a first end and a second end. The body is elongated from the first end to the second end and a cross-section of the body has a trapezoidal shape. The body has a length from the first end to the second end is between 24.0 inches and 48.0 inches and a height from the bottom surface to the top surface being at least 12.0 inches and less than 16.0 inches. The bottom surface has a width from the first lateral side to the second lateral side between 16.0 inches and 20.0 inches and the top surface has a width from the first lateral side to the second lateral side at least equal to 4.0 inches and no greater than 10.0 inches.

Exercising assisting and support assembly

A pulley weight exercise method includes the placement of a plurality of weights from an adjustable dumbbell on a base. The weights each have a centrally positioned opening vertically extending therethrough to define a receiving space. A user determines a quantity of the weights to be used during an exercise to define a selected number. The selected number of the weights is engaged to a carriage. The carriage is attached to a first end of a cable positioned on a pulley suspended from an upper end of a vertical support. The vertical support is attached to and extends upwardly from the base. Pulling a second end of the cable pulls the carriage and the secured weights upwardly toward the upper end. To perform an exercise, a handgrip is attached to the second end of the cable.

Dumbell system

An exercise equipment frame, such as a power cage, is formed from uprights that comprise at least two sections that are telescopically interfit with one another. The sections have an interference fit between them when the telescopic interconnection is made that is tight enough to require the use of a tool that enables leverage greater than that achievable by the hand pressure of a user. The sections may be of substantially equal length to one another when forming the main uprights of the frame to allow packaging of the sections when disassembled in a carton of more regular dimensions. The sections may also be unequal length to allow coupling of a frame extension to the top of a completed power cage type frame.

An exercise machine for performing barbell type free weight lifting exercises has a power cage or Smith press type frame, an elongated bar held on the frame in a substantially horizontal resting position, and an adjustable exercise mass assembly that allows a user to select an exercise weight from among a plurality of choices of different exercise weights provided by the exercise mass assembly. The exercise mass assembly is separate from the bar and any auxiliary weight plates carried on the bar. A cable and pulley system operatively connects the bar to a movable portion of the exercise mass assembly that provides the selected exercise weight. A powered actuator sets up the bar for performing a weight lifting exercise by lifting the movable portion of the exercise mass assembly up above a second portion of the exercise mass assembly that remains stationary during the particular weight lifting exercise.

An add-on weight kit for a selectorized dumbbell comprises a second set of nested weights that are similar in shape and structure to a first set of nested weights originally provided on the dumbbell. The second set of weights has a plurality of overlying rails that will underlie an array of similar rails carried on the first set of nested weights. The kit includes a second handle having vertically spaced openings with the second handle being used in place of a first handle originally provided on the dumbbell. The openings on the second handle are arranged relative to the rails on the second set of weights such that the same connecting pin as used on the dumbbell to couple the first set of weights to the first handle can be used to additionally couple a selected number of the add-on weights to the second handle.

Add-on weight kit for a selectorized dumbbell

A selectorized dumbbell comprises a plurality of nested weights which have front and rear arrays of rails with the rails being vertically spaced from one another with a space beneath each rail. A handle is insertable into a gap between stacks of nested left and right weight plates. A selector comprises front and rear pin arrays in each end of the handle with the pins in these arrays being selectively movable in a horizontal direction into extended positions located in the spaces beneath the rails for coupling different weights to the handle. The pins in the arrays are movable into their extended positions by a single vertically movable member carried on a vertically rotatable shaft in the handle end or by a plurality of independently movable members in the handle end that are moved by a plurality of keys carried on a top side of the handle end.
