In an approach to assessing safety of a vehicle based on usage context, one or more computer processors receive a planned usage of a vehicle from a user. Based on the received planned usage, one or more computer processors determine a set of preferred vehicle characteristics. One or more computer processors retrieve a maintenance record and a usage history of a first vehicle. Based on the maintenance record and the usage history, one or more computer processors determine one or more vehicle characteristics of the first vehicle. Based on the set of preferred characteristics and the one or more vehicle characteristics of the first vehicle, one or more computer processors calculate a usage match score. One or more computer processors generate a risk assessment report.

A first optical marker contained in a first image captured by an image capture device of a delivery drone can be identified, the first optical marker indicating a first cargo recipient. Responsive to identifying the first optical marker contained in the first image, first data corresponding to the first optical marker can be generated by performing image processing on the first image. Responsive to the generating the first data corresponding to the first optical marker, a first specific location at a general location can be determined by processing the first data. The first optical marker can indicate the first specific location and the first specific location can be different than a second specific location where the first optical marker is positioned at the general location. The delivery drone can be initiated to deliver the cargo at the first specific location indicated by the first optical marker.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for structural damage detection in a vehicle. The method includes detecting a change in tension of a wire coupled to two different nodes of a multiplicity of nodes tethered to one another by way of tensioned wires and affixed to a portion of a vehicle. Thereafter, in response to the detection, data is uploaded that includes the change in tension to a computer remote form the vehicle over a computer communications network.

At least one image captured by an image capture device of a delivery drone can be processed to identify at least one optical marker contained in the image. The optical marker can display at least one machine readable optical label, or alphanumeric characters, indicating a cargo recipient. Responsive to identifying the optical marker, image processing on the image can be performed to generate data corresponding to the machine readable optical label or alphanumeric characters. Whether the data corresponds to an intended cargo recipient of a cargo being carried by the delivery drone can be determined. Responsive to determining that the data corresponding to the machine readable optical label or alphanumeric characters corresponds to the intended cargo recipient of the cargo being carried by the delivery drone, the delivery drone can be initiated to deliver the cargo at a specific location indicated by the optical marker.

A speech from a speaker proximate to one or more microphones within an environment can be received. The microphones can be a directional microphone or an omni-directional microphone. The speech can be processed to produce an utterance to determine the identity of the speaker. The identity of the speaker can be associated with a voiceprint. The identity can be associated with a user's credentials of a computing system. The credentials can uniquely identify the user within the computing system. The utterance can be analyzed to establish a zone in which the speaker is present. The zone can be a bounded region within the environment. The zone can be mapped within the environment to determine a location of the speaker. The location can be a relative or an absolute location.

Zone based presence determination via voiceprint location awareness

A method for providing dynamically translated public address announcements can begin with a multi-lingual module maintaining a listing of mobile devices that are currently active within a specified geographic area serviced by a public address system. The native language used by a mobile device that is different than a language used by the public address system can be noted. Content for an announcement broadcast by the public address system can be converted into a format capable of being transmitted via a wireless communications message. The converted content can be translated to the native languages noted in the listing. The wireless communications message containing the translated content can be pushed to corresponding mobile devices in the listing and the wireless communications message containing the converted content can be pushed to a remainder of the mobile devices in the listing via a non-cellular wireless network local to the specified geographic area.
